Totally agree that you need specialists centres and can’t keep dumping blokes like Talau and Kapoa there. All I’m saying is the days of Gidley, Lyon and Gasnier creating from the centres are gone. They mainly need to be able to defend and catch and pass. If a centre is in your top 5 highest paid players your cap is way out of whack (with Manu being the only real exception to that).

Also, to say GI and Trell were at their most destructive in the centres is nonsense

No it’s not, GI was almost unstoppable in Origin in the centres with slater and Boyd playing fullback in front of him

You could sign Cameron Munster. Wests Tigers will be Wests Tigers. He would quickly become comfortable in the system that Wests Tigers are. No belief. Bottom dwellers. Sustainability in mediocrity. Hasler is taken, Flanagan is taken, Webster they ditched, Payton they ditched. Whereas a good coach realises your potential aka Melbourne, Dolphins, Broncos etc........ However there is always a silver lining in all things in life...... playing for Wests Tigers gives you 2 great opportunities. 1. Good junior football program and 2. When you make the big time at Wests Tigers - you are on show for the bigger teams in the competition to graduate to.

Rumour: Instead of kicking stones, Brooks pretended a Hammy in the Titans' loss in order to fast-track his departure this season to Manly. Seems weird that they would pick him up after such an injury after just a couple of weeks on top dollar for 4 years.
