Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

So we are in a similar position with Sheens to before our 05 success. We could only recruit players with ability if they were returning from major injury (Scott Prince & Pat Richards) or solid experienced players who Sheens felt were good for culture & could find their potential at the Tigers (Hodgson, Whatuira, Elford).

I’m wondering whether players with similar experience who have a point to prove & yet to hit their peak may be our target.

Three can think of off the top of my head are Lachlan Lam, Connor Tracey & Blake Taafe.

Any others that fit the profile?

I wonder why our recruitment is so far off 2005.

Adam Doueihi fits the bill 😆

Maybe Benji could Captain Coach in 2024 and fill on of the halves spots
Let’s not go down that highway. His playing career is over, it was actually over a few years before he actually retired.
What we want is for him to ;
1. Sign some of those players who are “desperate” to be coached by him and,
2. Come up with some game plans that actually work.
That will be enough for me.

Game plan? How bout some heart. They seem to play like robots. AI. Trust this is not the future. How many robots have we signed already. If we kill the robot coach we can acquire heart players. Aka Coaches that wear their heart on their sleeve. Are not democratic and appeasable rather ropeable after a loss.

We need John Coates as our Chairman, former AOC President & Wests Tigers fan. He would sort out any factions & ensure the right people take charge at senior management. One of the most respected sporting administrators ever in Australia. Can someone on Twitter propose this to Buzz to raise since he’s good at creating change at WTs (i.e Sheens as Head Coach).

Without fans John Coates is a duck in the water on a Saturday morning in the moors of a Louisiana sunrise. Barry & Beryl. Thats what's missing. We lost our people. The Bloody Battler.

So according to this article & Galvin’s direct quotes below, he’s top 30 next season. Surely not right, maybe means Dev Squad or training with the top 30???

ASSRL Nationals Live Stream: NSWCHS five-eighth Lachlan Galvin is the good news Tigers fans need.

It has been a dark week for all Wests Tigers fans, but there is one schoolboy giving them reason to hope at the ASSRL Nationals.

It has been a dark week for Wests Tigers fans, but there is one schoolboy giving them reason to hope.

In the space of a week Tigers fans have had to deal with the fact Luke Brooks is leaving for the Northern Beaches, they are lacking a recognised half for next season and they were pasted 74-0 in a historic thumping at the hands of the Cowboys.

It’s been tough.

But there is one shining light in the form of NSW CHS halfback Lachlan Galvin.

In the space of 60 minutes, the Westfields Sports High talent made it clear the future isn’t all doom at Concord, after masterfully steering NSWCHS to a dominant win over NSWCIS on Saturday.

The 17-year-old Campbelltown product, who was previously part of the Eels junior system, will join the Tigers top 30 squad next season.

“I am loving it (at the Tigers),” Galvin said. “I got there last year and I am loving it.

“I just want to focus on my footy, train hard. I go into the Top 30 next year.
“When I got there I looked up to the NRL boys. Wayne Lambkin was the coach at Westfield and he’s the reserve grade coach there now and he’s really helped me and my footy.”

Galvin wasn’t the only future Tiger to impress for the NSWCHS side, with winger Luke Laulilii scoring an impressive double.

The duo have played together at Westfields Sports High for a number of years, and the playmaker said their combination was sound.

“In the Harold Mathews Cup, he (Laulilii) was fullback and we worked really well together,” Galvin said.

“It’s good to play with him he’s very fast. I just have to find him, he gives me a lot of room and he follows me.”
When asked who Galvin models his game off he said it was Queensland five-eighth Cameron Munster.

What about that guy in England or Ireland? Celtic coach but maybe coaching Chelsea. Aussie coach. Have Wests Tigers contacted him? When will the mass media come to fruition if it exclaims to inform life in general. In all its absurdity. Is that Fulton's job? Tito Santana - you are on fire tonight brother.

Respected? He's a misogynistic dinosaur, widely loathed by those who've worked with him
