Parra have enquired about the availability of Nofa

That's great everyone always enquires about our players but we never seem to make any enquires of our own. I dont rate Nofo but in no way shape or form would i be shipping him off this season, most likely paying a big bit of freight.
At the end of the season i would be happy for him to go, but not when we never get anything in return, you can't keep shipping players off for nothing.

We’re waiting for Fainu to decide where he goes. By the time he knocks us back Sanders will be off the market.

Much like letting Paps leave thinking we had Tedesco in the bag.

That’s how Pascoe works. Only one plan at a time so no one feels overworked.
Fortunately, this isn't the case.... Fainu is seen as our long term 6 prospect.

Sanders is seen as a 7 option. However, the club aren't looking at an inexperienced 7 more so the opposite hence why Pearce, Johnson and Moses have been contacted previously. I understand it, the idea of Sanders and Fainu both getting thrown in the deep end to turn this team around is a dangerous game to play. Much prefer partner Fainu with someone experienced to help with his development and overall team production.

Hunt is still seen as a potential 7 option for 2024 but this is seeming unlikely.

Yes you can, were going to be aggressive in the off season.........2048

So when do we get an answer on the Manly whizz kids ? Or is that going to drag on for months as well.
Just so everyone can keep their heads clear, the Fainu boys were reported to have been given permission to negotiate with rival clubs 11 calendar days ago.

That's reported to have been given permission, not publicly given permission. Reports are Benji met the pair last Wednesday night, i.e. less than 1 week ago.

So , the dogs needed a 1/2 back one came on the market and bang deal was done . He may not work out but at least they are trying , what do we do NOTHING, they say they have been trying to get a 1/2 in all year but what have they come up with , bugger all , SO what is the point of having a massive war chest of money if u don’t spent it , sexton could have worked out or at least been a back up . I am really sick of us cutting players or moving players on without us getting nothing in
Maybe I’m a bit different but I would be prepared to wait a while to get a good halfback that is going to work out instead of buying a half that might work out (and waste valuable cap money).

I agree. Two young halves especially with an inexperienced fullback is doing no good for their development or the team's success. Surely we have learnt from 2014/15 with a halves combo of Moses-Brooks. Even Benji & Robbie in 05 needed complementary experience in the spine with Prince & Hodgson.

Who sees Hunt as a potential option? He has said he wants to go back to Queensland. He would cop an absolute hammering as a liar/traitor if he signed with us after what he said for his reasons for leaving the Dragons.

Bulldogs might be struggling but at least they are trying to improve. We’re just happy to be in the NRL.
Bit of a redundant comment; Bulldogs are doing very many of the things (and committing many of the same errors) that Tigers have done, but they are probably emulating our decision-making circa 2018.

I also think it's silly to say Tigers aren't trying to improve. Both clubs went for Cameron Ciraldo, both clubs competed for Tevita Pangai. Both clubs made big offers to high-profile candidates and missed out; both clubs signed some high-profile candidates. Both clubs recently sacked out-of-favour but experienced coaches.

It's not that Tigers are not trying, they just aren't doing the right things or aren't getting results from the things they've tried.

So nofa was the only one that was bad , I do remember on numerous occasions when they went to nofa side , he had to cover 30 - 40 meters, the blokes inside had just given up , NOT saying he was good far from it but please tell the whole story rather than push the hate crap 💩
the whole story…

he should never been signed for 5 years at $500k a year…

the end

Now that Sexton is heading to belmore perhaps Kyle Flanangan to Concord lol
anyone but Brooks hey

Genuine question I don't rate Flanagan nor do many people on here or at a few other clubs. But he's been killing it in reggies, so the question is, is he any better than Wakeham? ie would people consider Flanagan as a direct swap for Wakeham?
Perhaps then we could go for a Sanders and give him a year to develop further, with Flanagan as a stop gap for a year IF we can't get anyone better who is more experienced.
All this is assuming we have Fainu done and he will be our 6 next year so we can't have two inexperienced halves paired together next season.
