Tried hard. Once again errors, our right edge, and poor interchange rotation has cost us 2 points. Tommy was the best in the backline excluding Bula.

Bateman busted his ass off once again. Bula great desperation. More minutes from Api would have been desirable, still a great performance for first game back.

Wakeham cannot pass properly and refuses to run the ball .. point blank refuses to run , like NOPE , NOT me .. it is terrible .. coach has taught them NOTHING .. horrible defence , Talau is so lazy , Kepoa cannot tackle and makes zero effort .. that was embarrassing and INFURIATING 🥵😡

He hardly saw the ball. Talau doesn't seem to involve his winger by passing. Bring in Brooks, Staines and Nofoaluma and it is a different team.

Bula is simply sensational - without him and his effort they get to 50+ tonight. I’m hoping that with the letting go of the likes of Ken and Joffa we have been able to top him up as we cannot lose him.

It is clear that we need 3-4 new outside backs, 2-3 halves and 1-2 middle forwards. Thats half our squad. Just not enough quality competitors in out team. That’s the difference between us and the rest of the comp.

No matter how badly the team plays or is going, I still support it and our players. I would never wish one of our players to leave. We knew this year would be difficult. Sheens said as much earlier in his tenure. While losing is disappointing, we demonstrated fight and players like Seyfarth have stood up to confirm he actually belongs in the NRL.

Besides the bleeding obvious of the club needing a half for the last 10 years, whats being exposed this year is on top of the half issues, the complete lack of class across the entire backline. A top 8 forward pack which the club should be praised for delivering has had their good work completely unraveled by failing to sign 1 decent NRL standard player from 2 - 7.

Pascoe, Lee, Sheenius, I dont care who, but 1 or all of the 3 stooges need to piss off for being the architect of that backline.

It scary to believe that Talau was an Australian Schoolboy 5/8.....has hands like feet, does not look once to engage his winger or try to develop a 2 v 1 situation. I would hate to be a winger outside that bloke, you will never see the ball and you just know he will make mistake after mistake in defense leaving you high and dry exposed.

Good to see Casey Badger has her regular square up on us but its normally from the bunker.. Ref said Hasting was flopping and play on but once again overruled.

Surely you can’t be referring to where Hastings kicked ahead and got tackled without the ball. Lucky it wasn’t 10 in the bin for a professional foul, let alone a “square up”
