What about the qn of was their sufficient evidence to overturn the ruling if it was a 50/50 call.... does my head in

Simple if its a 50/50 bunker judgement call .Its a knock back if its one of the top teams and a knock forward if its one of the bottom teams .

Annesley said it was the opinion of the bunkers view that the ball went forward, and their opinion is what ultimately matters.

The bunker is not to make rulings on opinions! They have to have clear & conclusive evidence on a decision to overturn it or they have to go with the onfield decision of the referee.
