Because they're in NZ is one good reason. Why on earth would Metcalf leave the warriors.? He's been playing brilliantly and seems to have locked up their no6 jersey

Good that Heath Mason is in that management group. Should help us lock him up long term.Just had a look at who is in the Matt Desira Aria Management stable that it seems we are on side with (Benji's manager) ... Brandon Mansfield, Heath Mason, Mikey Tannous, Jeral Skelton (interesting considering @a_dog mail last week), Jayden Campbell ... no others that would really interest us.

But TMM is contracted long term.I’d really like the idea of getting both Latu and TMM.
TMM to start 2024 at 6 next to Seizer whilst Latu has a bit more time in NSW cup then potentially groom TMM as a 14 moving forward.
I really like his game he did really well when given the chance at the Broncos and Warriors.

Let us know how it goes.Fair enough, I'll have to give him a second look
Yep, love the NFL. I followed the Chiefs through about 25 years of average until the recent glory so there's always hope I guess. Tigers just need to unearth a Patrick MahomesUnfortunately the Tigers have been so bad lately that the NFL is now my No 1 sporting obsession 😢
Plus the Warriors also have Volkman and Chanel Harris Tevita on the books in 2024 as well as Johnson, TMM and Metcalf. Something has to giveBut TMM is contracted long term.
Metcalf is the one the Warriors haven’t banked on kicking on. He is still there for next year sure. But at the end of the day TMM has a contract to end of the following year; if he doesn’t want to leave he doesn’t have to. Basically by that the Warriors are in a bind if they wish to keep Metcalf and can’t afford to without moving on another half or hoping Johnson retires end of next season.

I did the same years ago. Then the NFL team i followed became the Wests Tigers of the NFLYep, love the NFL. I followed the Chiefs through about 25 years of average until the recent glory so there's always hope I guess. Tigers just need to unearth a Patrick Mahomes
Players Association will take the NRL to court to stop a draft, plus due to the fact the under age comps are run and funded by the NRL clubs there's no incentive for that to continue if they then lose them to a draft.unfortunately as already mentioned above … there is no draft in the NRL where the bad teams can get good young players to improve

On a minimum contract...?Why on earth would Metcalf leave the warriors.? He's been playing brilliantly and seems to have locked up their no6 jersey
In a perfect worldThe NRL should fund a 'top 34' juniors and compensate the clubs who produce these guys. Put them into a ballot and give two to each club each year in a draft format. The whole process would make the game a lot of money through TV.

Was that young fella Terry Hill?I’m sure you are aware that the draft has been to the High Court and was found a constraint of trade and thus illegal…
the first time some young feller got drafted somewhere he didn’t want to go… his player manager would be in his ear to go back to the courts
If the money is biggerplayers could elect not to nominate for the draft if they wish
