The Tigers have reportedly sealed the signatures of a pair of rising stars as a plan for the merger club to add an experienced coach to its ranks has been revealed.
According to Danny Weidler of 9 News, the Tigers have secured deals for brothers Latu and Samuela Fainu.
The SMH earlier reported that the club had offered four-year deals to both players, who starred for NSW in their Under 19s State of Origin victory on Thursday night.

Does anyone think like me that Lachlan Galvin may become our future halfback?

Yes he would be the tallest halfback in the game but from the underage games I've watched, he loves to take control with the ball in hand, possesses a good passing game & seemingly a kicking game (although probably under-utilised to this point).

I just loved his combo with Latu Fainu in the City U18 x Country U18 game recently.

angry..but is he wrong?

Not wrong about the club being a shit fight. He's spot on there.

But getting white girl wasted on XXXX and ramping up like a basic [This word has been automatically removed] on Twitter on another young bloke who is just doing what his young bloke is doing and trying to have a shake with the opportunity given to him is shit form. Sulking about people bagging his kid out and then does the same thing to another kid.

Seems like we’re potentially building towards a spine:

1. Jahreem Bula
6. Latu Fainu
7. Lachlan Galvin
9. Tallyn Da Silva

With all our young forwards coming up… mixed with all the experienced boys currently like Klemmer, Bateman, Api and Ice.

Gus may be right, we definitely aren’t going backwards. That spine could be anything.

The goal is to have Latu ready for the 6 jersey come 2024 and give him the pre season next to Bula, Api and Seizer to see what he can do.

Mail was always the same - they were always coming but wanted assurance that Fulton was going nowhere given the speculation of a rift. The whole Dolphins scenario was always a leverage thing.

Some other news…. the same source also alerted me about Lomax wanting out months ago seems to be confident that we’re putting ourselves in the picture to get him next. Benji is driving this but up to 6 clubs have made enquires - what does work in our favour is that Lomax is a lot more keen on us than people would assume. However, Flanagan would prefer him to stay so maybe a Simpkin trade could work?

We’re also in box seat to secure Holbrook too but John Morris is being heavily heavily considered.

He also mentioned the club is looking for another halves player - wasn’t told any names.

That’s all I’ve got right now

Can we can trade Simpkin to both the Eels and Dragons?

For next season:

Let go: Nofo, AJ, Naden, Brooks, Talau, Simpkin, Simpkins

Re-sign: Staines (2 years), Blore (2 years + TO), Seyfarth (2 years)

Sign: Starting centre, half (Sezer), Fainu boys, Winger (provide competition for Staines and Tupou), starting lock

2024 Team:
  1. Bula
  2. ? (no idea)
  3. To’a
  4. ? (Lomax?)
  5. Tupou
  6. Fainu
  7. Sezer
  8. Utoikamanu
  9. Koroisau
  10. Klemmer
  11. Papalii
  12. Bateman
  13. ? (Tino? lol)
  14. TDS
  15. Twal
  16. Pole
  17. Blore
Depth: Matamua (lock), Faagatu (prop), Samuela Fainu (2RF), Feledy (Centre), Wakeham (half), Staines (FB/Wing), Seyfarth (Prop/lock), Doueihi (centre/half), James (prop)

A couple important pieces away (with plenty of cap space) from having a decent side IMO with youngsters waiting to be blooded into FG.

mate .. I don’t follow the bloke,,,i was making a comment on one post which I havent seen myself but someone typed it out here …

I don’t know if you follow the NFL …players family members are running their mouths on Twitter all the time … it’s 2023 …and what people do

If manly release the brothers do we throw him into 5/8 , just to get use to playing nrl , as it won’t make any difference, I know a lot don’t like putting a 18 year old into the fire , but with no pressure on him it would give him a taste with only 6-7 more games , and the old saying if ur good enough ur old enough
