I only saw bits and pieces seemed to be serviceable, i did notice Blake was on the wing though. Didnt someone mention Parra offered him up as a swap?
Putting him in the shop window, i hope we don't bite on that bait.
Blake is also a pass for me.

I think both yourself and the club share the same views…. every time Asi has become available we’ve called.
If Weakes goes to Parra as a backup 6 option and Simpkins goes to Parra on a trade I’m 99% confident we’ll ask the question.
If I had to put my money on a trade however, Simpkins for Dunster would be my bet as I reckon we’ll get Sullivan. (Opinion not mail).

Weekes wouldn't need permission to look around. He is off contract end of this season. Much better option rather than having Ogden running around in the number 1 jersey in KOE Cup. A better depth option to go to.
Would prefer we get Sullivan over Asi. He has far more potential and upside in my opinion. I don't see Simpkins going to Parra anymore....with Joey Lussick heading that way. But which ever club Simpkins goes to, we should try to get a player back the other way.
Fact :we desperately need one but preferably two class half's, playmakers ,pivots whatever without these we have no hope . I read so much about suggestions ,Croft ,Sezer , Sullivan ,Cogger , Metcalf , Volkman ,Asi .So far we've got an 18 yr old who hasn't played NRL yet
Are any of our suggestions looking like they will actually happen ?

By the way Waqa Blake on got a run on the wing due to Sivo Suspension and he was hopeless -dont go there !

By permission, I more so mean told to explore options as they plan on not extending him. I like Weakes but I don’t see him coming as his path to first grade will be difficult with Bula and Fainu long term priorities at both 1 and 6. Likely he’ll go to Dragons with Flanagan I reckon, as both Sloan and Amone look to be regressing by the week.
Lam is worth more than a look. He is the best off contract half by some way. All indications however are that he is set to re-sign with Leigh.Don't usually watch ESL but thought Lachlan Lam is surely worth a look. He led Leeds to their first Challenge Cup Final in 50 years.

Thought I read somewhere that raiders were favourites for him - got excited as maybe the Sanders deal has fallen through.
I agree with your point though. Lam certainly can play and wouldn’t look lost as a starting calibre half in the NRL he’s a prospect for sure.
Unfortunately i had the misfortune to watch most of them
Raiders (and others) enquired, that was a while ago now. They were considered the most attractive of the nrl options. Lam reportedly torn between wanting to prove to himself he is NRL quality and enjoying life in England.
There has been a few reports Lam set to extend whilst the talk of him going to Canberra has quietened as they pursue other half options.
Weekes & Sullivan would be smart signings.
Both have a lot of utility value and both are first grade quality.
Sullivan, perfect 14.

That winger/centre market looks bare.
Unless the club can get Corey Allen, the best bets might be Hymel Hunt or Tuala from the Knights.
Re-signing Staines is pretty important. Or finding someone a club is willing to let go.
I'd definitely be talking to Alamoti. Not much quality available in the centre positions. Was an U19 SOO player last year, I think. Bulldogs are so determined to buy a comp, they are losing the talented youth coming through (Alamoti, Averillo etc).
Alamoti, Hunt & Allen for me. Not exciting (although I think people are sleeping on Alamoti), but it hopefully provides safer play than what we see now.
The young outside backs can't develop fast enough!

Sezer 7 & Lam 6 as he is good running playmaker while Latu develops then Lam can move to 7 if he works out as a mature game manager.
Who knows what will eventuate as Sezer not confirmed yet.
