How far is Galvin away from NRL?He has only good wraps & he is in our top 30 next year. Has anybody seen him play first hand?

Yeh, seen him play a couple of times this season in SG.

Think he is in year 12 school. Hard to tell mate he is a class above at school boys, like a lot of the school age boys that are in WT pathways.

Would not be radical to say he is the best school boy coming through. Depends how his body develops over the next 6 months.

WT haven't rushed him in to flegg like some of the other guys. The other guys might be a year older than him just out of school this year. WT allowing him to playout all the school boy stuff, plus made the Australian team.

He will see first grade 2024 or 2025 if injury free for sure.

He looks like a wizard at 6 playing school boys but didn't stand out as much this season in SG ball this season at 6, which he must of played a year younger than most to the team.

Ok the Dogs have gone out and got themselves a handful of basic level NRL players with experience and people are dismissing them. What they are doing is building really solid depth something that has killed us over the past few years. We have a top 17 player go down and we have nothing to replace them with, the cupboard are bare at present.

Maybe if the pathways delivers in a year or two things might change, but I would be more than happy if a couple of the Dogs signings had come our way
I've nothing against any of the dogs recruits and think at the right price they all add value to a roster. I just don't think any of them warrant the "how can they afford..." or "how do they attract..." posts that have been flooding this thread.
They can afford and attract them because they are fringe guys with genuine claims at a permanent first grade spot at the Dogs. I don't think any of them (besides Sexton) would be likely starters here.

The Roosters are going for Sami and Best. They said they can fit them into the cap because of Suaalii leaving.
Everyone keeps defending the roosters saying that players take pay cuts to play for a potential GF winning side but they can't use that excuse if they can't even make the 8.
Gees, I hate that cheat of a club!
Already signed Dom Young and Spencer Leniu too.

I also don't think Sullivan is a bad deal. There aren't too many promising halves on the market these days but he is one of them. There isn't much out there atm you can compare him too either, if anything he is like a young Mitch Moses to me. Can't tackle, couple injuries, carries on like a dick, but with his speed and the way he sees the game he creates opportunity that others don't. He has a mouth on him, but that's good.. I am so over seeing our team dead and lacking spark, Bateman recently has me grinning ear to ear because you can see how personally he takes losing and we need more of that.

If we get Sezer next year we can have both Sullivan & Latu learning the game management side from him & if Sullivan isn't good to go as a 7 by the time Sezer is gone than I am sure his contract will be ending around the same time anyway so we can revisit. What's our other options next year? Wakeham? No team has a plethora of halves so it isn't like we have anyone else. The only reason Sullivan is available is because he plays in the same position as the coaches kid.
Sullivan, for mine, is Chris Sandow in a modern body.

I was going to say he was a bit like Darrell Trindall, but I think Sandow is closer.
