More likely walking away with $750k under the table to go and do something else.
Totally right. Don't trust Canterbury and especially don't trust Gould. The NRL should spend at least as much time forensically dissecting this as they did looking at Robbie Farah's 'deal'.Walking away from a $750k salary in 2024. What a gentleman and a load of s%*t!
Our luck that will free up money and they will take Sullivan under our noses..Walking away from a $750k salary in 2024. What a gentleman and a load of s%*t!
What hass deal?TPJ leaving the Bulldogs reeks.
I think Hass’ deal averages $1.2m per year? $3.6m over 3 years?
I remember that. He came back from French rugby on like $50k.The beginning of the end for the cap was when Saints fitted Gasnier into their 2010 squad paying him for next year.
Fox disrupted the game permanently but they kept the cap pretty fairly policed.
Our club needs to start breaking some rules.
The Dogs Will still be paying him his full contract, outside the Cap like Josh JacksonPangai Junior will play out the season with the Bulldogs and take up boxing.
Well, at least it wasn't something dodgy like a round of golf.He probably just "won" a share of a pub in a game of poker
it’s his cousin. From mcleanHe had a really good whole season at full back his first year.
Yes, he'd be cheap, but to improve the tigers need to make judgement calls on whether a player is going to help get you to the top or not, and he just isn't.
The fact he has signed with Penrith leads me to believe even he is happy to simply be a backup player and at least there he can hang out with his mates.
Unless Luai leaves he should've gone to a team who needs a 5/8th.
I think that sadly - for those of us who remember him - he could very well fade into oblivion in much the same way his incredibly coincidental namesake did all those years ago.
Like seriously, his name was Daine Laurie and I'm pretty sure he came from Penrith too! He was a forward, but it's still pretty freaky.... 😳
I was told on Sunday Moylan was coming to us, but I refuse to believe it.Saw this on Facebook. Possibly just a troll with too much time on their hands, but stranger things have happened. Anyone know anything?
BREAKING NEWS Farewell AnnouncementNone of these are retiring after years of distinguished Service. They are choosing other teams.
They don't deserve Farewells,
Do we definitely have Sullivan and Sezer? Or is there still stuff going on in the background?Have a feeling the club is holding off on announcing Sullivan and Seizer officially until after the Dolphins game. Seems like they're heavily deflated with injuries and I think we're expected to get the win. Introducing those two signings after a win could create some momentum and good media narrative.
Side note: Blore and Twal as our prop rotation coming off the bench is impressing me more by the week. Really hope we keep Blore.
The Dogs Will still be paying him his full contract, outside the Cap like Josh Jackson
