Home game NZ next year 2024

I see hapibandelis wants to go back to NZ with a home game next year

Still impossible to search for particular articles here
 
All I can see from that is we will have 3 home games away from Sydney (Tamworth, Magic Round, and NZ) but I can guarantee members will have to pay more for less games again.

That is how you keep your members happy, right?

Yes. If it was mandated by the NRL that all clubs take a home game there over say a 4 year stretch (so 4 additional NZ games a year), I could get behind that (or something similar). But, to be the only club to do so is foolish. And don't buy the "it's to repay the Warriors" marketing. It is a cash grab, nothing more.

I 100% think it’s dumb. Gave up? They played footy in a bubble mate. Got to see people. Got to play sport. Got to go 5km from their homes. They weren’t forced to play. They didn’t loose their jobs. They weren’t front line medics dealing with the day to day. They played 20 odd games of footy from a resort. Seriously the way people bang on about the warriors “sacrifice” is pathetic and takes away from all the people who lost jobs or had their jobs become infinitely harder to deal with.

Like I said, morons from the top down, including some fans it seems.

This year was a one of. I doubt they will continue with this. Who cares anyway club is coming 17th it was a dead rubber for the tigers so with Tigers ties to NZ and Warriors giving up so much for the game i couldn't care less where they played because you could tell it meant to NZ players and NZ.

This thread wasn’t about this year? It was another home game in NZ for NEXT year. You asked my opinion on this years game. Keep up.

As for meaning something to NZ players, I couldn’t care less. I want wests to win. What if it wasn’t a dead rubber and they were playing for a spot in the 8? When Pascoe agreed to this years game he didn’t know that wests would be this shit, he probably assumed it but couldn’t be sure. Every single advantage the club can suck out of every situation should be the number 1 focus.

It was a free money grab for a moronic organization.
