I'm guessing we get half the gate takings and Pascoe's eyes spin around like a poker machine and when they stop spinning up pop dollar signs.

Not sure if he'll sell a lot of hats over there unless he's getting counterfeit Warriors one made up and undercutting the price of the genuine ones.

You forgot to mention, they got loaned players from other clubs when they were short.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the sacrifices they made, but we have done our bit to thank them and got repaid by some of the worst NRL officiating we have seen and we have seen plenty.

Time for someone else to say thanks but doesn't look like anyone else is anywhere near as soft as we are.

Are we going to get a magic round match

When we spoke late last year about the magic round I thought someone posted whoever won the spoon was the bye team for 2024 ....maybe I'm wrong
 
Didn't do us any good for this 2023 season despite us being the reigning wooden spoon champions for 2022.
 
Haven’t see anything else to confirm this… but you gotta be kidding me if they go back over to NZ again!

How much do they get paid to take the game over there … $250k tops?

Surely the backlash from fans and media isn’t worth the hassle ..

I’m even getting dirty on them always being the home team at Magic Round and taking the game to Tamworth… but even these have more merit then a certain 2 points given up by taking a home game against the Warriors over there again

With Benji being who he is, there will be a lot of interest in WTs in NZ. If this translates to more WTs' support in NZ and potential recruits coming to WTs rather than the Warriors or NZ Rugby, it could have benefits.

we dont need “more support “ in NZ..

we need to win more football games and this doesn’t help..

we aren’t the ambassadors for growing the game’s popularity in NZ

That is a very short sighted view. As we have witnessed, playing at Campbelltown or Leichhardt does not guarantee a win.

But the home field advantage is pretty important and we can’t be giving it away several times a year …

If you are still serious about growing support in NZ then scrap the Tamworth game and take the home game against the Dolphins or Titans there where they might even get some support from the crowd..

But it’s all about the money though and they will pay more for the Warriors game right?

I see where you’re coming from , but to imply it wasn’t a sacrifice , when no other team did anything like that , because others in other fields sacrificed more , is gatekeepikg to the max .
They spent the better part of 2 years living out of a suitcase , and I can tell you from experience , being trapped somewhere for a lengthy time ,no matter how good it is , sends the best people batshit .
And before you say it , no you’re not entitled to your opinion because you’re wrong . Especially when for the longest time , there was no foreseen end to it . It’s easier when you have an end date , but when that keeps getting pushed out , it messes with you no matter how much a resort lifestyle you may be living .

I can’t remember the last time we got a home ground advantage… we get screwed by the ref as much anywhere we play… a packed leichhardt doesn’t make a difference unfortunately.
