The team as a whole have not played with the same urgency, they have not ran the ball and tackled as hard ever since.
Some players from have fallen away dramatically since that game.
I understand it’s the coaches job to get the players in the right frame of mind to play at their best or somewhere near it, but blame cannot be shifted off a fair few of the players who have let us down by not producing anywhere near their best since that game.
I am highly confident Benji will sort it out, give these non performers an ultimatum to produce their best on a regular basis or get out.

Like when Billy slater is interviewed as a coach he’s always professional

I worry that Benji standards are just not the same as the best in the game

It’s not a conspiracy . It’s a political tactic. Another is revealing it at 4-5pm Friday , as the news cycle is Monday-Friday , so the impact is diluted by Monday . Especially in the “have to be first” media culture that exists . By Monday it’s already half into the next drama .

So what’s stopping them ? Other teams seem able to move their dead wood on all the time …

They have no outside backs … at least they can get by with what they have in the forwards..
