Nah Luke you will need to step up in a club where you won't be a protected spieces
- that's what will be new.
And the fans will be just as lethal if you don't that won't change.

You hear about how much video that Nathan Cleary does in preparation for games and in pre season and when he is rehabing from injury. So did Cooper Cronk (still does even though he is not playing). Brooks clearly not that type of halfback and perhaps relies on the coaching staff to do that homework for him and give instruction. Maybe he just doesn't see the game like the best halves who are thinking 3 plays ahead and can break down an opposition. Adds to the belief he is best used as a running 5/8 who can pop up, play what he sees, follow a ball carrier in support. Unfortunately we wanted him to be something he just aint, and this statement in the interview shows why. He will probably go alright at Manly with Cherry Evans pulling the strings. I hope he does. It must suck being the whipping boy each week for 200+ games, whether it's deserved or not.

I just never saw it in him.

I reckon he trained harder then most players, but no where near as hard as Cronk or Cleary. I will add Chad Townsend to that list, as a Cronulla fan told me "he just wants it" and would train the house down... Doing everything possible.

Luke Brooks just seemed very happy go lucky. It's an attitude you can have at 5/8, not halfback.

Thinking about it... I reckon if we got Shane Flanagan in instead of Gardiner we may have had a very different 2022.

Shane Flanagan had the NRL experience and I reckon he would either conflict with Madge OR actually get the little things right. Too much was on Madge's shoulders. ...

i dont know who was responsible for pathways but i feel like a lot of work was likely done long before Sheens. The club won Mat's before he was at the club.

They are great to have on the forum but you've forgotten a forum identity. Wasn't it Mistymuzzle that hit us up with the Fainu signing and now has posted news about Pascoe?
 
Im less concerned about Pascoe these days as it appears his wings are clipped.

Lee has all the power and his ego won’t allow him to step aside.

He was asked if Benji was ready to coach and he said “Tim thinks he is and who am I to argue”.

He’s taking advice from the old guy who just wants to retire and the key part is if Benji fails, he can again blame the football department.
