Are you serious ? We are talking about the halfback . This isn’t just any player on the field . Especially one who’s been given the keys for so long and had public and private backing . The best ones are all getting min 1.2 mil . And I dare say the next truely great one , as I don’t think there’s one running around right now , will get 2 mil . That comes with responsibilities. Brooksy is on 1 mil at least . He can’t do everything , but he should be doing everything he can .

Monday should be review of your performance as well as a review of the performance of your key peers .
Tuesday should be a clear way to strategise around your deficiencies, and moving towards implementation around your own game of key ways to improve . Wednesday should be about implantation and brainstorming around what’s working and what will work . The back half of the week is about execution and real time implantation , culminating in the captains run to iron out kinks .
You telling me copper Cronk wasn’t doing that ? You telling me DCE doesn’t ? Hunt ? You reckon hungry as all get out up and comers aren’t scouring through tape as we speak watching subtleties around elites to look for ways to improve .
It’s literally the difference between greatness and not .
And I love brooksy . But he obviously had no desire ever to be great. And that’s a real shame . Because he really could and probably should have been one of the greatest , now he will (hopefully) be the custodian of our worst ever 10 year stretch . Remembered in the same way as NBA players like Stefan Marbury , gun players who lost more than they won . And it never made sense how that was possible .
