Everyone has their own agendas, hidden or not.Interesting wonder if he has something else in the pipeline. Maybe he will have a breakout year and is backing himself. Wouldn’t have been easy to pass up a 3yr deal given the year he had.
Wish him all the best for this season.
The NRL must mandate that every team must have a ranga in their top 30. 🥃 🤣3x thumbs up n a smiley face for Alex
Definitely having an go and far from the worst. He has been playing quite well this year in a poorly coached team.

He is playing for a contract but you also have to wonder if it is a push from coaching staff aswell as he seems more involved with playsContract time?
Definitely having an go and far from the worst.
But then again, playing for an extension so he should be all in.
On another note I thought Stef had a strong game last night, he’s just a bit hot and cold at times but 160+ metres last night and strong tackling.
I've always liked Seyfarth and he slots into that lock forward role better than any payer we've played there this season. Pole gives better impact but Seyfarth is playing well.
Stef is the one I worry about. SOO rep, big contract and average performances. He was real good last night though. He needs to play to that level consistently.
At this point, he's far more important to the club than Matamua.
There are some really good middles coming through the grades, so tough decisions need to be made. Seyfarth brings the right attitude each game. Far ahead of James & Matamua for mine.
I've always like the guy. He keeps going. His last hit-up is as strong as his first and when he gets smashed he just gets up and goes again.
My biggest concern with this team is getting our middle forward rotation right. We have a bunch of really good middle forwards and we need to keep the right ones.
Starting Props:- Stef & Klemmer
Starting Lock:- Fonua Pole
Bench Props:- Alex Twal, Shawn Blore
Bench Lock:- Alex Seyfarth
Samuela Fainu is also going to have to get a shot somewhere. If he comes on as an edge forward well one of the middles will have to make way for IP or Bateman.
We also have Chris Faagutu & Kit Laulilii coming through the ranks.
I bet this is an unpopular opinion but I think signing Klemmer was a mistake. He is a big middle forward like Stef but I think we look better when we have more mobile faster middle forwards like Twal, Pole and Seyfarth ripping in. Having Klemmer on a long term contract takes up a spot that we need to give to other guys.
I wouldn't be fussed if Stef or Klemmer go. They cost big dollars and I think Pole, Twal, Blore and Seyfarth are better for us.
Don't underestimate the value of experience and leadership.
Of course a player needs to contribute on field more than just experience. Tamou could not keep up. Klemmer is far exceeding Tamou's contribution.
