I think earl is just trying to create some excitement here stating the obvious that new signings will probably come from the sides remaining in the competition.

The club has already mentioned we are in the market for 2 or 3 quality backs.

Just thinking through some players I have mentioned a few times over the last 24mths that we should go for which are coming into contract options would be Billy Smith & Turuva. Both would solve & be a massive uplift on what we have atm & would make a serious difference to how we look across the park.
