Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Yes, Reilly deserves a mention.
He has applied himself, battling in reserves all year and when finally given the opportunity in NRL, he did not look out of place at all.
Before he came off injured last night, he made a couple of very good tackles, closing the gaps on one leg. That is committment.
Interested to see what we can do with him over the off season. He is worth the effort.
He is better than ASU, but we should look to do better still…

Weakes and both Fainu boys playing in the KOE cup game on KOE cup FB page if anyone keen to watch them.
Weekes was by far the best player for Manly. Looked dangerous with the ball. If we could move on some of our players, he would certainly be a good option as our backup fullback. Not sure if he could play centre or wing for us.

Latu looked good with the ball. Very strong runner. A few tackle busts when just taking "hit ups". Also set up a nice long field linebreak in the 1st half. Defence looked solid too. Didn't disappoint even after being thrown out into an unfamiliar centre position.

Samuela was a bit hot and cold. Some strong defensive efforts and a few good carries. However, he had 1 bad miss followed by a Schuster bad miss that led to a try. Also tried to throw a miracle flick pass/offload in the dying stages which ended their chance of a comeback. Samuela needs to realise that Latu will cop some hits in his career. He seems to get heated very quickly anytime anything happens to his brother. Needs to learn to control it or other teams will exploit this.

Savage for Raiders was mostly quiet, but the one chance he got, he showed his speed. I would love some speed and x-factor on a wing next year.

No major injuries and no suspensions....so at least the next time we see the Fainu boys it will be in our colours.

Watched bits and pieces. For a kid out of position he did really well. Thank God we didn't sign Schuster - does good stuff with talent but so much sloppiness too. Samuela did well.

Would like to see us consider Harley Smith Shields and Xavier Savage.

No idea why manly are still playing shuster in the halves
