Matamua, Laulilii and Tame (Havea) all high workrate middles, Galvin could be the point of difference with his ball-playing ability.A plethora of potential star locks in the future - Matamua, Laulilii & Galvin & another young guy in Matts is rated v highly too.
Can’t see him as a 1st grade player , his defence is terrible, just lacks somethingWhat about Feledy?
Yea and we could not get any of these Min wage super performers.
From trash to treasure!
The times I have seen him playing centre, I would say yes. He gets really involved and has pace. We seriously need this in our centres.Wonder if Staines could centre?
I do remember a young Benji Marshall playing centre in his early days with us.He’s a footy player through & through this kid, arguably the best schoolboy player this year but I’m biased of course. He could play any position bar prop & wing and excel. Has the attributes to be a gun centre at an early age then transition back to halves with experience & opportunity. Yes he is a 5/8 I agree but if he’s allowed to progress to NRL as a 19yo without the pressure of being a playmaker, he could do anything. Difference with Latu is Latu has more experience against men at Cup level already. Down the track, I reckon our halves can be Latu & Galvin 👍
Coaching Brooks at Blacktown will be his legacy. This is great news. He has been poor 4 the club
In both results & development. Good luck @ Manly
Maybe looking for a spare kneecap?I’ve seen him out with the Fainu brothers, so there’s a connection with them.
But you're still not going to say he can just go.I think its getting pretty close to fact WT cannot create an environment for him to excel.
I think some of you need to go back and watch Chris Lawrence’s defence as a teenager. It was worse than Feledy’s but he worked on it and eventually played for Australia. Can’t see him as a 1st grade player , his defence is terrible, just lacks something
Havea a brilliant ballplayer in his own right too. plays 5/8 and even fullback sometimes for Ingleburn. he will be very fun to watch these next few years thru junior reps.Matamua, Laulilii and Tame (Havea) all high workrate middles, Galvin could be the point of difference with his ball-playing ability.
Onitoni will be in the backline irrespective of how big he gets. his pace and agility is incredible.Onitoni Large is the one who could be a genuine superstar.
Such a balanced and fluent runner, definitely specialOnitoni will be in the backline irrespective of how big he gets. his pace and agility is incredible.
How old will Large be next seasonSuch a balanced and fluent runner, definitely special
Also Feledy's played 1 game in first this season (I believe). ...I think some of you need to go back and watch Chris Lawrence’s defence as a teenager. It was worse than Feledy’s but he worked on it and eventually played for Australia.
I concurMy tip is Lachlan Galvin to finish next season as one of our 1st team centres! I reckon Benji will start him as 5/8 in Flegg then progress him into Cup as a centre as a ‘transitionary’ position (much like a young Fittler). If Galvin can work hard in the gym in the off-season and show that his defence is up to it in NSW Cup, he could be a gun centre - strong ball runner, great pass/offload, can chase & take attacking bombs & is deceptively quick. No inside intel, just my own thoughts.
Called into Origin as a 23 year-old.Can't help feeling some are going to be proved poor judges by Stefano in the coming years as he becomes elite.
