Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Honestly I don't even remember who you are. I must be living in your head rent free.

I don't for a second believe you read posts first before the username. If you actually read the posts before reading my username which you just admitted you have a bias towards, probably due to you being a boorish Brooks fanboy that I no doubt mercilessly embarrassed week after week, you'll find all my opinions and posts are always 100% correct.

And he is back

exactly, if we are relying in Sezer in 2024 we are well and truly screwed....
Roll the dice benji on youth , put Sullivan and Fainu in the halves

He is a 1 year option and we have Galvin coming into the squad as well. He clearly isn't a guy we are building around.

The club doesn't appear to agree with the idea of the organizing halfback which is great.

How is Manly even offering these sorts of contracts? Brooks, Turbo and his brother, DCE, Schuster etc all on massive money.

The kid who destroyed us at fullback and looked a lot better than Tedesco did last night. He must be on a packet as well.

Tautau Moga and pace are two things I never ever thought I would ever hear together in a sentence.

He got run down by Doueihi with a 20m head start…

He is more miss than hit with speed because he is always injured. For KOE have zero issues as he wouldn’t exactly be taking a development role given our lack of center options and might sure up some quality in KOE for the kids

He made Doueihi look like Addo-Carr. 😂
speaking of champions, we finally find a player with talent. Apparently the club is desperate to extend Bulla, after sacking the coach who gave him the jersey.
Bulla has been quoted as saying he wants to win a GF with Wests Tigers.

Yes he was very solid , and speed loads of it , tough as well , he is the type we should be going after ,

He signed a long term contract but he is exactly what we need. We need some class.

That is why I think we are dependent on guys like Fainu, Sullivan, Galvin and maybe even both Laulilii's.

Recruiting those guys once they've made it is really hard because there are only so many established stars who leave their teams and it's not many at all.

Tautau Moga has been released by the Dragons and would be a good depth signing for centre in KOE with some pace.
He has had numerous knee reconstructive surgeries but is a specialist centre.

Only played 13 games over the past two years for 13 tries , not sure if it was form or injury. Has not played a full season since 2017@ broncos but could be cheap with some upside if he gets his body right.

194cm , 109kg at 29 years old
We will likely already have 3 players returning from ACLs in 2024.

I think we have enough ACL re-injury risks.

The question should be, why can’t we find someone to offer that sort of contract?
We appear to be thinking/hoping Bula becomes that same type of player with the same type of electrifying impact as our fullback.
I’ve said many times that Bula looks to be a committed and classy long term NRL player that every club would like to have, BUT does he have the attributes of a regular line breaking, line break assisting, try scoring, try scoring assisting, match winning fullback ???
I sincerely hope he does and with the wraps and confidence shown to him there’s every chance he will keep improving, BUT I honestly believe he’s a step too slow and not quite dynamic enough to be an elite NRL fullback who can inject his team into the top 8.
He would not necessarily have to single handedly win games for us as a winger or centre and that’s where I believe he’s best suited, but I hope I’m wrong.

Don’t disagree with you on that. He represents good value for WT, and probably on minimum contract, so an upgrade is the way to go, but wouldn’t be breaking the bank on him? I‘ll reserve my opinion on his ceiling until the tail end of 24.

It really is if the new guys can bring in a winning culture or sink with the current culture.
I agree and this just reinforces the fact that we need early wins next year. It seems obvious, but it is more than just moving up the ladder for us. If we can do this then it may appear the new guys have brought this winning culture along, which can then start a culture of belief.

So you don’t remember who he is, but know he’s a Brooks fanboy. Never have a seen such an immediate contradiction.
I see comprehension is your strongest trait, and you failed that.

Read it again with a parent maybe that can explain how it says 'I don't know who you are' you are 'Probably a Brooks fanboy'

Google "probably", give yourself an uppercut and reply with an apology.
