🔥🔥🔥Seyfarth set to re-sign on two-year deal.
Great news!Seyfarth set to re-sign on two-year deal.
Got a Larfhow about my girlfriend for Margot Robbie whist we’re at it!
not against it. we need experienced players who can do a job when called upon. at worst, Seyfarth's a solid starter for our Cup side. at best he's a decent impact forward in first grade on a cut priced deal.Seyfarth set to re-sign on two-year deal.
Keppie is better than Twal in attack and Twal is better than Seyfarth in everything
It's the Benji era people!
In with young & exciting winners while maintaining some experienced leaders with aggression & footy IQ.
If Twal is expendable, so is Nofa, Jake Simpkin and AJ Kepaoa if suitors emerge for them.
I specifically said we won't be chipping in if he goes early. If we have to pay half, he stays in 20204 and leaves in 2025. if someone wants him for next season they can take him on full freight, though i don't think any club would be that desperate.I don’t get that logic at all. He’s one of our better players. If he’s on double that and we have to pay half for him to play elsewhere, then we have 300k remaining to pay a player who won’t be as good as him.
The point is saving $400k! What's not to get?!I'm not sure what the point is of swapping Keppie and Twal.
There would be likely limited financial benefit, and Twal is a similar quality player who obviously has a good relationship with the players at WT.
If true, that would take our squad to 29 with Staines not included (as hasn't re-signed yet).Seyfarth set to re-sign on two-year deal.
I don't disagree with the idea on a cap-saving basis, but inflating numbers to support your argument is Justin Pascoe behaviour. The point is saving $400k! What's not to get?!
If keppie is better than Twal I get it. (I haven’t got an opinion on keppies ability or style) otherwise we are just losing one of our few first graders in an already poor looking squad. The point is saving $400k! What's not to get?!
Costs money to employ proof readersQuality jornalism from the Telegraph
Seyfarth looked destined to join Canterbury but it is understood the off-contract 24-year-old is now on the verge of inking a new two-year deal to remain at Canterbury.
Respectfully disagree. Twal IMO is horrible at closing gaps. Excellent front on defender but zero clean up work. He records so few missed tackles because he doesn't do clean up work (as these are the tackles good middles often miss). Our backs (who don't need help looking shit) are always left stranded by no inside pressure. Twal is one of those not providing it.That first part is completely laughable and simply not true. Twal makes up for others lack of effort and mobility by covering such situations. He never gets caught out being lazy or not mobile enough to cover a space.
He is one of the best middles in the game at covering space defensively
Who's inflating what?I don't disagree with the idea on a cap-saving basis, but inflating numbers to support your argument is Justin Pascoe behaviour.
George Rose.I am a big fan of Twal and appreciate what he has done for the WT however I think the club is doing well by Twal if he can secure a long term contract at another club. He has a family to support and WT unlikely to extend his contact. I think he would work well in the Storm system.
He is an honest toiler but not a player who would help WT climb off the bottom especially surrounded by poor players.
Remember it is the Dud players Storm reject that make them a Powerhouse (Caveat - Even Storm get some players wrong like Junior Moors, the Big Prop Cult Hero from Manly who's name alludes me).
Also agree with Tom Shines about "Margot Robbie" she is smoking hot.
I would say Klemmer is much better than Twal, and that's the issue. Twal is too one dimensional to be earning so much.If keppie is better than Twal I get it. (I haven’t got an opinion on keppies ability or style) otherwise we are just losing one of our few first graders in an already poor looking squad.
Keppie offers so much more. If Twal was to stay he would be coming off the bench. If Keppie fills that spot that gives Tigers a lot more punch off the bench.I'm not sure what the point is of swapping Keppie and Twal.
There would be likely limited financial benefit, and Twal is a similar quality player who obviously has a good relationship with the players at WT.
My best guess would be around 250 - 300.Who's inflating what?
How much do you think Keppie would be on..?!
If Twal is on more than 500k, I would think we're chipping in. Just like we are with Joffa and Musgrove. The point is saving $400k! What's not to get?!
