OFFICIAL Jahream Bula #269

[Yossarian]

Thanks for the loyalty Bula.

On the podcast he did, he appeared very thankful to the club and spoke very highly.

He's a star.
I think he's going to be huge, not just for us... but for the game.

I got a chance to speak to him at a members event - came across a very humble and down to earth guy.

Bula coup for Tigers as chairman stays on for three more years

Lee Hagipantelis will stay on as chairman until at least the end of 2026. And the club’s gun fullback has signed a deal without a controversial clause.

www.smh.com.au

Interestingly his manager asked for a get out of jail clause and the Tigers refused. Good management Tigers.

[Sully]

Bula was upgraded and got our Kelly Barnes Medal this year….

Offa got upgraded and won the Kelly Barnes medal last year and our management moved him on.

Hopefully they have learnt from their mistakes. Oh wait Lee got 3 more years…WTF

Offa got upgraded and won the Kelly Barnes medal last year and our management moved him on.

Meh, Brooks and Noffa both won that 🤣

[Mccarry]

Said it before , I would have Billy Slater all over him , once a week for 2 / 3 hours on field and blackboard work

Start a go fund me on this and I will put the first $200 in

[AdelaideTiger]

Great news

[old_man_tiger]

I've had a very hard time staying positive, but those is good news. My expectations for next year are low, but hopefully these young guys can do something in 25.

[innsaneink]

How long has he extended for?

[Tom Shines]

Good news…

Please sign a couple of backs to help him

[Tom Shines]

How long has he extended for?

Until end 2027

[Tucker]

Jahream Bula gets contract upgrade and extends his time here at Wests Tigers till 2027 - per WT member email.

I guess giving him all those awards worked?

[Fallen Angel]

The massive contract upgrade moreso I would think....
Scary Stuff - Wouldn't be many kids that have played as many games as him on that sort of money...
fingers crossed it works out.

Id be a lot more confident if we actually had a coaching staff with runs on the board, and a competent group of execs running the club. This kid in the Panther system would a force of nature. In ours, he’s still an unknown.

[Tiger Tarl]

How much is the Bula deal?

[cktiger]

How much is the Bula deal?

No one knows ... but there are some saying it's too much. 🙄🤣

[KingRobbie]

How much is the Bula deal?

Reports are $675-700k/season for four seasons.

[jadtiger]

Reports are $675-700k/season for four seasons.

That is big money for a bloke who is in his first year but at least it does tie him to us for 4 years.I hope that for once the club has got this right

[earl]

Pay on Potential
- It's the Wests Tigers way....

It's a huge contract for potential and a good attitude. I'll bet that he comes good but he now gets judged as a mid-tier paid spine player.

Pay on Potential
- It's the Wests Tigers

Are Bateman and Klemmer getting paid (more) on potential ?

[hsvjones]

Thats a very good price for a spine player who was playing with not much in front of him and a rookie.
Give him some decent halves and more game time and this will end up been a steal IMO.

The kid has class writing all over him but just like a Walsh or Edwards he WILL have errors and mistakes, but he will develop and only get better. It's not paying overs IMO
