Posters on here who seem to know what they are talking about believe this lot of juniors have a genuine care for the club. The move back to Campbelltown and Leichhardt is a good one. Hopefully we can discover a franchise player or two from within (fainu, da silva, galvin). We must continue making signings in areas of weakness though. They cannot continue to spin us as a "development club" to cover up a lack of quality signings.

You can’t buy a comp these days in the salary cap era (hasn’t stopped Roosters from trying though - oh that’s right they all sign for unders because of the great culture…).
Identifying and developing young talent, picking up a few undervalued first grade quality from other clubs, and a handful of key position top shelf players is what can win you a comp.
2005 might be a lightning strike, but we had a lot of good local juniors come through, some solid first graders from other clubs come in (Whatuira, Richards, Payten) and added some key positional top talent (Prince, Hodgson). It’s the best recipe for success. You can’t overhaul the roster every year to bring in established first graders.
 
Who could south’s release if they signed Keppie? There’s no way they can afford it without someone leaving you’d think

For sure. Our new crop are tight as. There's a
really good impression out that they want to
stick with one another and want to see success
with one another, that can't be overlooked. I
also think that the club has noticed that and
are doing everything to keep them on board.
We took the Panthers blueprint, and ran with it.
Let's see how that goes in the next few years.
Having said that we must stay active in the player
market as we have with Api, Ice & Co. This year
was a disaster from top down. This team is yet
to play our best football, I've got faith in Benji
