And this is where having someone like Herbert on a top 30 contract bites us. Schiller is the better player but we can't get him because we offered a brickie a 2 year deal. And Tupou too. Schiller better than both

Terrell and Taylan would be playing for Samoa if it werent political. And I noticed you said 68. But 4 x 13 is 52. So if its 68 then Latu should also be included.

Outside of that, Api, KPP and Twal would start in most NRL teams.

I want to like the signing as I rate him as a player but I can't help but think that this will be the stereotypical retiring Tigers swansong contract (either down on form or will sit out most of the year injured.)

Agree. Grand Final winning teams generally have an elite 7. It doesn't seem to be a position we have often prioritised over the last 26 years.

What were the political issues that prevented the May brothers representing Samoa?
Latu was not in the 17 last night and may not get a run next week either so the call that we have 1 rep out of the 68 semi finalists is likely accurate.
