He seems more focused on self promotion than anything else.
Would much prefer a professional.

Last night Jai Field and Bevan French cut Hull KR to pieces so now it's a Wigan v Catalan GF.
Field had a hand in 3 tries in the first 12 minutes and French showed some beautiful vision with kicks and try assists in the 2nd half.
Catalan will be hard to beat. They're very tight defensively.

Both are better than what we have now

Of the guys coming to Australia next year Schneider was rubbish.
Pearce- Paul will be a good pickup for Newcastle. He plays centre and back row.
The other guy that has been connected to us , Smithies, went very well. He's got some creativity for a big lad.

Smithies I would jump on if he wants to come over , goes real good , could even be another Ellis type ,

Bradman Best would be an exceptional signing. He is a top class centre, only 22 - scores tries, creates them, has size, speed, good hands. We have signed our spine for the next 4 years, we have a really good pack and great forwards coming through but outside backs is our weakness but a centre combo of Star and Best would be fantastic. Also because we have got our spine at a reasonable price means we can afford to spend extra on outside backs

My mate who knows is a Manly fan and the more I try to get it out of him he’s more amused at our overpay so I don’t sense it’s big O who is one of his favourites

Do you think he might have meant highest paid player in the position?, there are only a few people who could become the highest paid player in the game, and they would be halves or fb... or tamalolo / David fafita. None are free.
