Ideal from hear based on rumours would be release Simpkin, Nofoaluma & Kepaoa for 24. Re-sign Staines & Seyfarth for 24. Leave 2 spots open in the top 30 pending the future. Sign Olakau'atu & Best for 25.

Not unrealistic but as reported would have to pay overs for their signatures. We do have cash in the bank!

No what sets me off is if the club goes out and over spends to sign a marquee player some fans which I believe you are part of generally get on the attack stating the club has no idea and constantly waste cal space over paying players, but on the other hand if the club refuses to pay overs and misses out on signing a marquee player these same fans will attack the club for not being able to sign any marquee players.
So it becomes a no win situation in order for the club to please these fans I am talking about.
So that’s why I ask, would you be happy for the club to pay overs of approximately 1.2 million per season to sign someone like Bradman Best or would you prefer them to put the cheque book away and run with what we have or lesser players who will sign with us for a much cheaper price tag ?
If you want my opinion, it’s a flip of the coin as we no doubt need to sign a marquee player to lift everyone’s spirits, whether or not someone like Bradman Best is that right player it’s very hard to say as he’s young and who knows if he would reach his potential with us or not ?

We will not be getting him for $800k trust me on that.
If we pay the 1.2 million per season they are asking we will be 90% across the line.

You do realise that it can't be done, right? We can't have even formerly offered anyone under contract with a contract offer for 2025 yet. We can only start formalities in November, so at best a player may have agreed to our offered terms, but there's still a month for them to change their mind before anything is actually 'done'.

Some people suggesting it's Luai is extremely hard to believe too. He's literally just won a grand final last week and is on holidays with his mates. There's not a chance in the world that he's been speaking to his agent about contracts for 2025 during a time like this. He'd be celebrating with his mates now and have been fully focused on winning the GF over the past few months

Do you want to make a list of players ruled out? There are so many names being thrown around it’s hard to keep track.

The cheaper option. Best has not proven himself anywhere near a 1.2 million dollar player. I'd love him here though.
