You can't have a squad of 30 100 game first grade players. Naturally you will need some fluff to pad out the squad. I actually think we have done things a little differently this year by promoting some of those young guns into spots that would have otherwise been taken by a Drew Hutchinson. I think this is the right move. It’s either them or replacing them with different fringe first graders.
There's only one big show. What a player. You need a Maxwell in the team. Im Weary also. Do we have one?
AlWays save my best work late in the year mateNow you Sir - really do have speed to burn. Comment of the year.
And a coach to match.AlWays save my best work late in the year mate
Winning comps is great in a dominant team but surely there’s players out there that have a burning desire to bring bottom clubs up to the top
Luai is a bit different I think. Those 3 were the biggest signings the club has made in years, not monetarily though. We’ve NEVER signed a player from another cub, north of 1 million a year. It would be the biggest signing in the clubs history. Not comparable to the other 3 imo.Every time around this year we get linked to a big name player only to be disappointed
Even though we ended up with Api, Klemmer and Paps last year the scars run deep
I think Luai linking back up with Api could be great though
Financially. The biggest. Yes. Results? Lets see. Come March. Unless you were meaning Big Heart? Then my bad. GNRLuai is a bit different I think. Media publicity wise yes probably, on field results to be seen, same with api.Luai is a bit different I think. Those 3 were the biggest signings the club has made in years, not monetarily though. Even before that, signing that calibre of player will attract others.Media publicity wise yes probably, on field results to be seen, same with api.
If he was to take us to consistent finals and premiership glory, his name would be up there easily, but for now on field impact has to be either Gareth Ellis or Scott Prince just for the sheer excitement both of them brought to the club when playing
That's because they cheat.Bulldogs seem to be able to move their dud players on mid contract
What about our Juniors? Wasn't that all the talk.Even before that, signing that calibre of player will attract others.
