He’s also caught the Mbye curse of not being able to nail down one position. It’s one thing to have utility value, but it can get to the stage of having the potential of being a jack of all trades, master of none type deal.
Just seen it in reports that he is apparently training with the Broncos for preseason still?.?

Had to be BS. This is him a few weeks ago in Dolphins gear, being interviewed presumably by the Dolphins.
It came from him training early with the Brisbane boys at Brisbane grounds. He was just getting klms in his legs before preseason starts.
I’m pretty sure he was just doing some fitness stuff with a couple broncs players as he wasn’t due for dolphins pre season for another week or 2 and wanted to get a early start. still pretty strange tho

Yes, Manly was able to punt Glenn Stewart and keep Brett in the team and playing.
Yet this makes the point. How pissed was Mat Watmough! Watmough was a great "run through gaps" second rower, an idiot, but a great player. Watmough and Glenn made a pinkie promise to play together.
Manly had to fire Watmough... In part because his attitude sucked right after Glenn left ( I don't know what else they could have done). Oddly they kept both Steve Matai and Jamie Lyon well past the 32 year mark and it worked.
Look, we all know the history. My point is you don't go hiring brothers and then play cap "pick N flick" as you will piss off one brother and likely the other one.

Tbf, they are damned if they do, damned if they don’t. If they come out and address every BS story, then they look pretty weak and thin skinned. No need to give the media credibility by acknowledging it. Other clubs don’t, so we should we?

I agree. And I've no problem with his signing. But In my opinion he is currently overpaid for what he offers and overrated by the forum.
He is being spoken about on here as though he will be 1) good for us next year. 2) will mature into a top end talent.
I disagree with both those things. I think his 24 performances will be fringe first grade level and he will mature into nothing more than a solid first grader.
Curiously, is there any evidence of Lee actually getting involved to up/extend his contract? Or is it a bit of forum speculation that has been repeated enough to be considered fact?
