Curiously, is there any evidence of Lee actually getting involved to up/extend his contract? Or is it a bit of forum speculation that has been repeated enough to be considered fact?

Yes it did, but that doesn't fit the agenda of bashing the club for it's poor decisions, so the club bashing continues unabated

It’s about controlling the narrative , which is that we are the worst club to have ever clubbed and the best journos ever like Buzz Rothfield , Pooper , and Carawankis , are the smartest people to ever live and can run a club way better … until someone says “well what would you do then champ” and the answer is “me ! I’m just a journo” …

I feel Sullivan falls into the Olam category. Two players that if their former clubs couldn’t get the best out of them, I’m skeptical that we can.

I want us to sign Olam, yet I fully concede we won't be better then melbourne at getting the best out of him.

I honestly think Olam just needs a season. Away from Bellamy and pressure. Different environment and different team. He may respond better to Marshall and if Marshall keeps it simple he has a chance. i.e. Olam had a bad season, doesn't mean "he is done".

Maybe there was no reason to. If that’s what you are alluding to, because some article stated we’ve told a player he’s free to leave, then that’s a bit OTT. If it’s slanderous, yeah do something about it, but stuff that’s related to footy, they have to drink a glass a of cement. And dare I say, some of the supporters too if they are that easily triggered.

Agree , hes been a high performing centre for a long time now, we could really use that experience even at the back end of his career. Pair with tupou or staines for speed.
