Senior Management and The Board - MEGA Thread

If true though. He has a point. Why wouldn't he be interviewed for the review?
Yep , that doesn’t really make sense . The guys who conducted it though , do this as a living , so maybe that’s their process? Maybe when you interview the executives it can muddy the water on any outcome . I dunno …

Absolutely not. I care about my club and its culture deeply and refuse to join in on an unthinking a populist pile on. I can do better than groupthink.

Your comment carries a barely hidden subtext that if this review does not sufficiently scapegoat the people you expect scapegoated, we have to bully and criticise people in our club via their personal and professional channels. Thats not being a fan, thats being a troll. What a disgrace, grow up.

The review is happening. You'll get the results in good time. It won't by nature, change any existing constraints and realities that make it hard for our club to compete or strategise long term in the player market. It won't change the human nature that make Rugby League boardrooms inherently political places. It won't stop leaks or factionalism. It won't calm down ferbile podcasters or put an end to fox news pile ons. It won't stop Roy Masters writing articles about our board like its a chapter from Game of Thrones.

You don't speak for all of the fans. Yes, perhaps its time for a change. If I want to protest I'll do it at games, I'll do it directly to the club, within the world of Rugby League in general.
In very good time!!

And a good time was had by all!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Totally agree with you Lestrange...he is going to go to town tomorrow, he may even try and sue the club, now wouldnt that be ironic
Sue the club???

For what??

As he stated - "myself and Justin serve at the discretion of the Board".....

Now the dummy spit and blame game to his "fellow directors" as I fully expected - BUT NIL legal recourse!!

Lucky they didn't audit his use of the Corporate Hospitality card - or he could be the one looking at legal action!!

Who knows but have to bear in mind their actions when review first announced- remember the self appointment as chairman for another 2 years basically giving the finger to the review, remember the vitriol to the reviewers and WT podcast via Riccio via Hagi? Maybe they brushed the reviewers and didnt make time available? Also entirety possible this was the first stage of a review speaking to people under / apart from the direct leadership of CEO / Chairman? If so I hope that is explained in the review methodology later.

Curious, who head hunted Richardson and BOF?
Was it the current board, the Holmans Barnes group after learning of review results? BOF great I mean it almost sounded like he knocked on the door after hearing Coates wasn’t interested but wasn’t Richo in Queensland last we checked?
Tony Crawford, worked at the NRL together.

I'm gonna enjoy this. He'll find few friends in the NRL media. His voice means nothing now that he isn't a chairman, I wonder when he'll realise that.

The media will use him up for sneaky headlines over the offseason a then discard him like an old tissue. His time is done. Talked big, failed spectacularly and was fired without even being spoken to. The utter distain the organization has for him must be huge.

This time next season, the only time we will even think of him is if they play clips of 2022/23 seasons and we see that ugly logo.

As for Pascoe, I’d expect you’d only see him if you were in the market for a used Hyundai.

Great day.
