massive news out of the Shire. will be an intriguing next few months there given that a stack of forwards there are currently off contract, namely Hamlin-Uele, Williams, Colquhoun and Kaufusi.

Dont LOL to much Yet until Jerome is fully Signed....Lol @ the Dragons
Two happy Tigers? I'm surprised there's one.Must of been another happy Tiger.....I started around 2010 from memory
It would really top it off if we could secure that young Cowboys backrower Kulikefu Finefeuiaki that they are interested in. I think you mentioned or someone mentioned we were investigating a few months ago?AFB could take Cronulla to the next level - good signing for them.
Dragons now have missed out on Dearden and AFB in one day. If they miss out on Joey Manu too which is probably likely.
They may be the next basket case in the comp.
So were they both actually signed 10 days ago and now it's official? If so, very surprised AFB didn't leak earlier.Well 2 decent signings already announced today...
Nope, Warriors waived their right to the 10-day period meaning Cronulla could announce it immediately. So were they both actually signed 10 days ago and now it's official? If so, very surprised AFB didn't leak earlier.
It really just seems the 10 day period is having an effect on us at the moment 🤷♂️
Oh Spartan, not you too. Of course he is.Dont LOL to much Yet until Jerome is fully Signed....
Signed for 4 years, secure for maybe 1 year. What odds on another release request at some point during his contract.AFB to Sharks
Because he was 100% leaving NZ. Theoretically the Panthers can still attempt to re-sign Luai. They won’t, but they can.Nope, Warriors waived their right to the 10-day period meaning Cronulla could announce it immediately.
Or he can say no to us and go to another higher offer is he chooses - just because we will give him a contract doesn't mean he has to accept.Because he was 100% leaving NZ. Theoretically the Panthers can still attempt to re-sign Luai. They won’t, but they can.
Why release any of them? Galvin and Fainu are not NRL ready yet. Why not keep them all on the books and see who comes through over the next two seasons. None are on huge coin so not big cap liabilities. You would only release if you are getting something you want in return from another club. Smart clubs don’t release good players. They use them as a tradable commodity or roster depth.I would give this some serious consideration. With Luai here, its a shoot out between Sullivan and TDS on the bench I would think...
Fainu is on $500k a season from 2024. Galvin is on a tenth of that. Great work Fulton, he bidded against himself on both Sullivan and Fainu. Why release any of them? I feel he was ours if we didn't pull out to be honestThe media had it as a battle between us. the Bulldogs and Saints, so of course he signed with the Sharks.
