There’s definitely a few variations of the rule being floated about.
 
I just had the wildest dream (during the day) that Adam Doeuihi and Jarome Luai were our halves partners for the 2025 season and we made the top 8. Wild at first, but pre-ACL Doeuihi at Souths and first year here was decent

Apparently right now the contract details are being finalized

I mean wouldn’t that all have been done when we submitted our offer ?

You don’t think Richo and our lawyers would be sitting there saying we can make any change needed on the spot to get this done if Penrith has agreed to waive the 19 days

It’s all stalling .

I would HATE to be right. Gutted

But everyone is too confident for me

To deny that is to ignore both clubs history. WT are not a brand new club, we aren’t the Cowboys or Crushers, we are borne from two foundation clubs and that will always be our history.

IMO any Wests/Balmain legend is, by virtue of the merger, a club legend, and that legacy should never be disregarded, least of all by our own fans.

And, may I add, Blocker was arguably the most revered, dynamic prop of his era. So yes, while Webcke and Lazarus are absolutely modern legends, Blocker’s unique style and skill level put him squarely in the conversation with the great modern day props.
