Exactly. He had 1 great game. Was Toa that good outside of the NQ hammering? Reckon he is average; way too inconsistent.

I would say we are developing the height and speed on the wings which is more important IMO - Lobb, Solomon, Willett.Just don’t know about Olam, Feledy and the guy from easts tigers. All the same style really all nugget players. We need height and speed, I’d be gleaning of pamfers up and comers from juniors.

You referring to aerial threat? If there is no threat in the Centres - It won't matter what the Wingers are made of...
No,You referring to aerial threat?
I’m not saying there shouldn’t be height in the centres but in referencing your midget statement, I would say the likes of Olam have done pretty well in the past. No,
Getting the ball in general...
Referring to your comment on the midget centres we're bringing through....
You can put the build of a Joey Manu up against the likes of Feledy any time you like...
The names won't matter - the mis-match in physical attributes will come up trumps most of the time.
For the same reason as the 'aerial threats' you're referencing....

I’ve read our new centre recruit is to a train and trial deal. The dev position is still vacant.
It was that great though you’d have to think there’s more to come, especially if he’s getting better service from his halvesExactly. He had 1 great game.
Evidence? He hasn’t got the ball down yet?![]()
Feeeeeeel it.....
And look- unlike our outside backs, here's evidence he can score tries!
You can always pick a long suffering Tigers fan by the little things..Evidence? He hasn’t got the ball down yet?
I’m still worried he’s gunna drop the ball over the line.
What it doesn't say is what Nick Meaney is on. As while Paps is a game changer, hes fragile when compaired to Turbo.
I don’t think they have a choice but to stick with him. It’s a bit like our situation with Noffa. No one is going to come close to what he is on after all the injury set backs he’s had so they have to persist. What it doesn't say is what Nick Meaney is on. As while Paps is a game changer, hes fragile when compaired to Turbo.
Add that Melbourne have at least 3 Million locked up in:
Grant
Jerome Hugues
Munster.
I am surprised that the club has that much faith in Paps.
Just confirming did he release Cooper Cronk & Dale Finucane from a contract or was their contracts up and they left for a bigger pay cheque ?Or he has a stack of Juniors for that position.
and his cap is locked up by Munster/Grant/Paps... Bellamy knows he needs to punt a player and he thinks that Olam is his best option to keep guys like Warbrick.
Cmon Bellamy let Cooper Cronk go, he let Dale Finucane go who had no issues with Performance or attitude at Melbourne.
We don't have a back anywhere near Warbrick's level. Bellamy's just doing what all NRL coaches with a tight cap are doing. Punting a highly paid player in a position he has a lot of depth!
Olam, exactly who we need as we have real quality backline issues and no depth at all.
Where do you get your $425k figure from when $600k is what is being commonly quoted?
Just curious where you have got that figure from.
I don't think he or Naden would be more than injury backup at most other teams.Exactly. He had 1 great game.
Few guys have gone from Q cup champions to first grade.Watched the highlights of the Q cup centre we are reported to have signed, Solomon Taapaate (?), don’t usually get too excited watching those vids, as they are often against low level opposition. However, this guy looks to have plenty- attitude, speed, strength and skills. The only thing I noticed was there was no real footage of him in D which could be a weakness for him in the top grade. Hopefully we have a coach who can properly school him in D and he kicks on.
