David Nofoaluma #164

Sad end but fair result for the club given his deal shouldn't have been signed. I said the other day about something else (Fulton?) That it would be embarrassing if it wasn't absolutely critical that we fixed errors from the previous management, could copy and paste that.

Pretty sad ending. He had all the makings to be a one club legend and highest try scorer all in one

Used to love watching him especially in his early years

Now he’s just a lazy bum

Yeah man. What a way to go out smh. I genuinely
feel sorry 4 him, should/could have gone so much
differently. Hope he gets some help soon & he
realises it's all inbetween his ears. He needs to
take some accountability. He's a tigers legend,
his legacy is already etched here, wish him luck

He been found out the be a shit player. Stop crying and start cheering. For the first time in years there is not one player or coach or administrator I openly dislike. I’m gunna be upset for the team when they loose and happy for them when they win. Looong time since I’ve felt that. Nuffa was the final tumor to be cut out. It’s done. #stoppuntingstartplaying
No ones crying
Grow up FFS...it was a simple question and I see its beyond you

As mentioned therell be a new whipping boy soon enough, enjoy it while it lasts

Ahhh you are crying “metaphorically”. A player who has been a drain for years and you’re worried about the terms of his termination lol. I know there are some people that get some sick satisfaction from being contrary, you mentioned the other one in your post but like always I will not kink shame. You do you, all I would ask is you and your partner take it to another thread…this one’s for celebration boiiiiiiiiiiii

It's not leaking when Journos are in attendance and witness it
Sorry I have been to several training sections this season have seem hardly anybody else there and no journo types. They don’t generally come out on the field from 10-10:30 and start training at 7am so how would they know what time he turns up. Are u also saying that the journos also have their stopwatches out and are measuring Nofa’s body fat?? That doesn’t fly. There’s leaks on both sides to suit their own agendas. All I am saying it’s not all Nofa doing it.

There is always two sides to every bust up and we are only hearing one side. I guess he probably has signed a clause to keep quite, but it would be interesting to know what triggered his actions over the past year or so.

In years past he passionately led the team song after one of our few wins and was a proud Tiger, so what went wrong. He had many problems with his defensive reads over the years, but he could find his way to the line better than most.

I hope this turns out not only a win for the club but it helps Nofo sort his life out

This is poetry

It reads like a Haiku

It is literally the form termination statement that you provide as basic proof of employment for crap employees you won't provide a genuine reference for...

who
And gee I wonder why the club has trouble recruiting players?? If you can’t be nice to a player a local junior that has been at the club for over 10 seasons. Crap move, he gone be decent about it! You wonder why all the journos shit all over the club, it’s stuff like this.

Richo has cleaned up some messes pretty swiftly in his short stint. He's a baller!

Supposedly will be on Jimmy Graham's podcast soon...might even be today.

I'll be interested whether we replace him with another winger or we'll look at other positions.
God I love that man

I'm relieved Nofa has gone, and good luck to him for the remainder of his career

I'd like to remember Dave at his best.

A game v Manly at Leichhardt Oval where Nofa sealed the win with 2 intercept tries. Who threw those 2 passes he grabbed? None other than Tom Trbojevic.

Different season, also against Manly at Leichhardt. Marty Tapau had just left us for Manly and was playing one of his 1st games for them.

Tapau stood wide to take a pass and made a run down their left. Which player was there for us? The much-maligned defender, David Nofoaluma. He took Tapau head on, solo tackle, drove him back and buried him, ball and all.

That's the Dave I'll remember.

The term legend is being thrown about Willy nilly tonight. He’s no more of a legend than Brooks. Both long serving clubmen , not legends.
