The quickest way to speed it up is to sign a marquee player who other good players want to play with. Let’s hope Luai is that guy. All indications so far is that players will respond well to BQM.

I expect us to run bottom 4 because we don’t have a strong 30 man roster, with improvement to come next year. To my earlier point, I don’t think any coach gets this roster much higher than Benji will.

That’s a cop out designed to protect Benji.
I like him, but he should not be our head coach. He proved in season 23 that he doesn’t bring much.
Hopefully Morris is working overtime to bring him up to speed.

Our admin is being strengthened, our roster is slowly being strengthened, our coaching team are the current weak link. Hopefully they standup.

Agree that our admin is being strengthened and the jury is out on our halves and coaches. I wouldn’t expect much success until Luai arrives and we see if Bula is as advertised. This season will be another long one, hopefully not another spoon. To keep sacking coaches without strengthening the squad is the work of morons.

If he can change mentality and we win a few more of the closer games I think it's a different season instantly.

Just as each team has a few ordinary players, the NRL has about 7 or 8 very average coaches.

Don't think anyone thought dolphins roster was hot sh!t last year. Alot of has beens and reserves. Managed to get them alot more wins than us. Wayne proved to be the difference I guess.

These guys are all friends. They all talk . And they all know the truth . It’s why no one wanted to come here when Madge was head coach . Despite a lot of blokes liking the cut of his jib . It doesn’t resonate . Same for sheens , which has been mentioned to be kept this year . The players were whinging , which is why all the talk was last year . Even if he had all the right ideas , he couldn’t resonate , so it was all falling on deaf ears .
The Benji talk around the league is positive , and the guys have had a whole pre-season to make an opinion . That’s ample time to work out if he’s shit or not . Or if he’s a dickhead .

I’d like you to explain the difference between the Warriors in 22 to the Warriors in 23 if coaching had nothing to do with that change.
The one main difference I will accept as a contributing factor was the health of Tohu Harris.
However come 23 preseason with a couple of old heads replacing young ones and they look remarkably different.
The difference I saw is they looked well drilled, strong and organised and connected.
Was that not a difference between Nathan Brown and Andrew Webster as coach?

Webster was recruited to the Warriors after all the roster changes for 23 season had already been completed.
But regardless if those roster changes didn’t occur you can’t tell me that the 22 squad couldn’t put together a strong roster with Walsh and Katoa for instance having break out years at new clubs in 23.
