Abbott and Edwards great bowling then the Dud Kerr bowls 5th over first 4 over total 16 runs 5th over 14 runs
Other then bowling first, Dropping Brown on 3 cost us, it was a tough chance I guess but really should’ve been taken. Would have been 2/11 at the end of first power play, instead one blink and it’s 1/60. That innings was the difference on that pitch. Should have got him MOM, maybe he shouldn’t have fumbled that ball. Renshaw’s knock was a bit of icing.

Better learn to love it, it’s gunna be around for a while.
I tried to buy a sixers jersey for this game but couldn’t do it, $120 for a bright pink short sleeve shirt, I don’t do red either.
Of course, it’s all about money. It’s already killed off the 50 Over format. The only reason it’s even still around is because of the World Cup. If it wasn’t for that, it would be out on its arse. My fear is that it kills off Test cricket next. It will take a few more years, but you already have players giving up the 5 day game to play 20/20. I’m as big of a purist as you will meet. Love watching Test cricket, no matter who is playing. The day that its killed off is the day I never watch a game of cricket again.

Windies win the toss and bat first on a very good batting deck but alas our 3 big quicks bowling in hot conditions have them in all sorts . 5-64 at lunch with Starc 3-11
He is now 351 wickets only 4 behind the great DK Lillee IMO our greatest ever fast bowler
The fitness level of these 3 guys is supreme !

Good fight back from the Windies, hopefully the tail doesn’t wag. The boys looked like they were starting to feel the heat.

When are we going to stop the charade that this team is as as good as the Warne/McGrath era? If you are being honest, you’d be flat out saying this is the best Test team in the world currently.

If it was the 1996 - 2006 Warnie/Pidge era, the Windies test would have been over by tea on the first day. Maybe lunch if they were trying.

And now Marnus. A precedent has been set with him being the first player to be playing in a side purely for his fielding.

Australia 4-24
For those who think Warner's retirement not a big deal
Smith twice opened twice failed
Green after dropping a sitter also fails with the bat
The disruption and reshuffled batting order is a shambles
