Judging from the article released the other day & training photos it seems like Olam is still currently injured… pretty worrying signs

I'm more worried about the fact we've bought 3 new halves to the club, Promoted a Junior Half to top 30....
and In all the photos I've seen, It still looks like Benji Marshall is the Wests Tigers main play maker.
Haha I think that too sometimes when he runs
around with them @ training but it's the perfect
way 2 show them something real time and not
have to just explain or watch tape over. Also
benji can just stand between the fullback and
the attacking/defensive line and watch exactly
how they're training in 4D. It's the benefit of having a recently retired coach. The coaching
staff are great (Farah, Morris). Nobody will talk
shit 2 each other or question the direction of the
game plan & coach. Everyone's on the same
page commited, that's another good thing too
At what price?Bad to worse 🚮
Makes you shake your head when there were suggestions we release Klemmer early to get Luai. Then you end up with junk like RFM. No thanks. At what price?
RF Mariner makes sense for the Dragons as they need someone up front and it's slim pickings.
His stats seem fairly pathetic. But 200k he would be a bargain. At the Dogs he was on 400k, probably 100k over-valued, maybe more.
Not the person I would rebuild a team around... but the Dragons can't be choosers... rofl.
Real Time, You reckon a 40yr Old Benji is moving in 'real time'
He was doing it last year as well, I didn't see many results from it....
I reckon it's the perfect way of getting them to practice defending against an old slow halfback....
Not many of those getting around on game day though.
I’m highly confident Benji knows a thing or two about running attacking plays and how to break open the opposing defence.Last year he was just responsible 4 communicating
whatever Sheens wanted, he gets the opportunity
2 implement whatever he sees fit, should go ok.
With his own player personnel as well
Having him run around & giving examples is
better than having a coach 30m away yelling
them out that's 4 sure. Anyway yeah, hope they
go alright, I'm sure that good times are ahead
soon. I'm positive this time not delusional

A coach who can demonstrate what he’s asking his players to do is a big advantage.
Time will tell, but I’m very confident we have a coaching staff that is very up to date with the modern day methods and know how it feels as a player when it’s going good or bad, which should only help in their management of the playing group.
100% correctI thought he broke his ankle scoring a try in the corner later in the match?
The hip drop may of done some damage though. There probably wasn’t alot of focus on them back in that time.100% correct
Did he come back on after the hip drop tackle? And then break his same ankle?100% correct
Is Galvin the next Bradley Clyde or Bradley Fittler?Douhie and Sezar will be gone next year. Galvin to 2nd row or lock.
He's really yet to have a solid run of games.... Yet to play 50Firstly what hype? Seyfarth has zero hype about him.
Secpndly, I question your definition of "solid". If Seyfarth has played 50 games, he has been solid in at least 40. Solid is exactly what he has provided, now he may get the chance to actually play how he is supposed to.
People need to be careful about this obsession with ball playing locks when it comes to converting halves into the role. If you have a look at all the big games, semi finals, grand finals and Origins, the influence of the lock link man is very minimal. They are great in helping you win enough games to get to the finals, but once the speed of the game goes up a notch, they don't have the time to have that influence. So it's important that the 13 can then adapt and play hard and tough. That's what Murray and Yeo do well. Big ask for a young 5/8 to do that.
Although it helps, size is not a determining factor on whether or not someone can play or not, have a look at Reuben Cotter as an example. It still amazes me that some people are talking about Galvin playing forwards anytime soon even he's a super skinny Seyfarth body frame, and even now Seyfarth still struggles with the physicality of the league.
Also pretty laughable to think Doueihi might get any gametime this season. He'll pay 7-8 NSW cup games at most before being released at the end of the season. He is not part of the clubs future.
It's much easier to play for a long time when you are always 3rd man in on tackles and scarcely ever run the ball. Api makes more 1v1 tackles per game than Smith did in his entire career. Can Smith played till he was 36
100% correct
Which has zero to do with my concern that the coach seems to be the main man running plays at training…Douhie and Sezar will be gone next year. Galvin to 2nd row or lock.
