We had a buck of youngsters and guys that will never play first grade in second half.

Depth is our issue this year….especially in the backs. Pray for minimal injuries.

You can see Faatape needs another full preseason though. He’s big but not a hard as a regular first grader. He will be a weapon in 12 months

Overall I would rate that an embarrassing performance. Yes I'm taking into account how many players we used and how many we took off at the 20 minute mark. However the Warrioirs had no one and played a man short. Really ordinary IMO.

Those that impressed me were Klemmer, Papalii and Seyfarth. Pole some good moments.

Sione Fainu I though was great. Am I crazy or is he half the size he was last year? Anyway I thought he outplayed Sam comfortably.

Thought Lobb and Willett outplayed Staines and Tupou. Tupou in particular must be under pressure. Love how good both Lobb and Willet are under the high ball and their carries out of our end were decent.

Need Sezer to stay fit and we need Latu at 6 asap.

Only real positives
- big boppers in the 1st half were strong
- Faataape looked ok
- Lobb just kick high and he could be a weapon
- Sezer looked ok

Rest all meh tbh. None of the kids I thought stood out even though they got good minutes if anything a fair chunk all looked below nsw cup grade.

Was disappointed in Sullivan tbh, didn’t own the side when Sezar was off and his touch finders were ordinary.

Well I had hope we would see a different type of footy with benji in charge , but it’s the same crap that we dished up last year , one out hit ups and then a kick , the warriors are running the ball so much harder than us , hate to say it but I can see a 3rd wooden spoon . Is it so hard to have some backline plays or our the coaches we have don’t know how to coaches such plays

The gap between our first grade talent and the guys coming through is enormous. Ultimately injuries will really hurt us this year I have very little doubt. Tries won’t come easily again.

A pretty horrible performance once our first graders went off after 20. No one put their hand up. I still don't understand why we recruit so many undersized players. Outside of Lobb and Willett nearly all our youngsters are less than 6 foot. Backs and forwards, a whole bunch of tiny nuggets and they couldn't get anything to happen against a superior warriors side who definitely deserved to win

I wouldn’t go too hard on them. Expectations would have been almost zero. There exclusively to give the big boys a rest.

Because Benji is not replacing them. He is leaving them out there to get minutes and miles into the kids whilst they tough it out. Webster swapping his players over regularly because they only have 12.

I think the only one who stood out who probably wasn’t in calculations for round 2 was Lobb.
