They have the money, but it wouldn’t make sense for them to spend big on a front rower considering they have bigger needs in the backline and potentially in the halves.Think twice about that .. possibly no Crichton and no JWH next season leaves a large chunk of $$ to play with .. ;-)
Collins, Leniu, Tyrell May, Egan Butcher, Nat Butcher, Radley, Tupouinoua, Wong and Whyte are all/will be quality first graders and even one of them won’t make their 17 based on numbers.
Losing Tupou (likely), Suualii and Manu means they are going to be seriously short in the backline so much more likely they spend there. Not to mention Keary is only there for one more year after this season so they will probably look to invest in the halves.
Roosters are smart operators, they’re not going to blow their cap on forwards and have 1 or 2 big earners potentially playing in NSW Cup.
