TEAM LIST Round 5 vs. Dolphins

Rounds 4-6, 2018...we were in 4th spot and had won 5/6 to start the year... All very close games playing very hectic scrsmbling defense.. It was impossible to maintain.
We are in Cairns and it was odd for me the weather so nice and warm and we were weeks into the footy season

Do you think the way we’re playing now reminds you of that same period?
I was thinking the same thing whilst watching the Parra game, especially the frantic scrambling defence.

Bloody hell we are playing the Dolphins, not a full strength Broncos. They are solid but not a finals team. If we play like we did the last two weeks then we should win.

I'll be very impressed if we win this week having to contend with suspension, travel and short turn around after an extremely taxing game.

This game will really test the character of this team and I include the coaching staff when I say that.

Hope we get up and when we sing the team song someone smashes the cameras with a chair. I turned Voss on for 2 minutes this morning and they still hammering us for the teams singing of the song.

Yeah the 2018 squad were brave but always did stuff the hard way.
Yeah its really nice at the moment. Can you imagine playing footy in it? lol I'm in Canberra for the past week. How's the rain up there?

I don't think we played good footy on Monday. The effort was immense and the will to win terrific. But if we make the same number of errors and give away as many penalties, we'll be in all sorts with the 'heavy legs' these guys are going to have.

The Dolphins are a solid mid-table side. One of those teams that could finish anywhere between 6-12 I reckon. They don’t beat themselves. As you expect from most Bennett coached teams you have to be on your game for 80 to beat them. Tough game I reckon. Winnable for sure but we will be need to be up for it, keep that high energy approach and dominate through the middle.

Seyfarth and Twal might get more minutes considering the short turnaround. Seyfarth was great last week.

Yep you are correct. He's not flashy but he plays a role and I'm sure his team mates appreciate him and know they can rely upon him.

That team didn't have anywhere near the talent we have today... Say what you want about Cleary but he had a rubbish team playing well above their standards that year.
