He does. He’s made of glass. All his injuries tend to be 2-3 weeks though.

If they'd offered two that would have taken him up to the exact point at which he was nearly winning the premiership with Brisbane. During this period it's possible Lachlan Ilias would have got tired of waiting for his chance and signed elsewhere, at which point Souths would have needed a long-term solution at half back and possibly a temporary 'bridge' player who could do a plausible impression of Reynolds until that solution arrived. For instance, Aiden Sezer for 2024 and Jarome Luai thenceforth.

Injuries aside, he was playing heavier and heavier in Melbourne, whilst looking a lot trimmer this year and thriving again without the excess bulk.

Didn’t Tom get beat by a drunken punter in the car park? Running that is. I’m a fan of Turbo, he’s great to watch in full flight, but I don’t think his nickname is representative of his speed across the ground.
