I don’t know the whole story myself but it sounds like Julie Romero the head of HBG is now having second thoughts about some of the recommendations of the Wests Tigers board moving forward, which could result in Richo not staying.

I don’t know the whole story myself but it sounds like Julie Romero the head of HBG is now having second thoughts about some of the recommendations of the Wests Tigers board moving forward, which could result in Richo not staying.

Let's hope it is all baseless conjecture and everything that was recommended happens in due course because i have already thought in the past that Julie and Dennis have been a part of our problems and not the answer

Yes Tony was one of the people that pushed the recommendations being accepted through.

This all went down a couple of weeks ago, after the directors were confirmed at the AGM. The board then met to elect the office bearers and Julie Romero and Dennis Burgess were elect Chair and Deputy Chair.

A couple of days later we did a podcast with Gary Barnier and he raised it as a possible obstacle to the implementation of the recommendations from the review he and Tony Crawford conducted and ask for Julie to publicly back the recommendations.

The concern isn't just Richo leaving, its that we won't follow through with the recommendations.

I get the concern , but if Richo stays then you’d think he’s staying because we have our shit together . If he goes then obviously the opposite .
He literally said on Monday he’s staying , so I’m assuming he’s had assurances that the changes will happen .
