wouldn't be crazy. He's big only 24, 6"3 103kg and
is brutal in contact but has finesse in his game too,
great in the air, covers everywhere in the backline.
He would be a coup. Will probably go to Japan rugby
if he doesn't re-sign with QRU. Was just putting it
out there. I think Simonsson will likely go to the chooks,
the papers are saying there is a 4 way battle and
that he's waiting for a new coach to be announced,
Wouldn't be a bad replacement for Sua'ali'i at Easts

2 years in the Super League under Cartwright would do wonders for Sullivan. He would come back to the NRL a much better player.

That could be a great way to keep him in the loop , similar to another tiger player who was over there prior to a return , this also gives us time with who partners Jerome in 25 , if they fail Bud comes back

You’d think the way he’s been discussed in recent years - both here and on other clubs forums
that he’d actually done something…..

he’s where he is for a reason, smart business would be to leave him there…
If he’s not coming on at a couple other clubs - he’s not coming on here

Yes surely Benji had veto over any decisions put forward by the list committee during 2023 and onwards. It was well reported that he wanted Brooks though and was not overruled but purse strings were tightened. Brooks asked twice to leave so the offer was possibly a symbolic gesture to appease Benji?
Either way, the point is that if Benji’s career hinges on the success of his players then he should and would have been responsible excluding of course the Fainus.

Wasn’t it up to Pascoe to run the salary cap and decide how much to pay players ?

Benji isnt involved in that
