I absolutely agree with this .. he is only playing first grade right now at 5/8 because we are a weak club . He would not get a start at 5/8 at any other club . He is a hell of a young player and will be a rep player for sure IMO but right now he is lucky to play first grade and really should play anywhere we need him .. kind of sick about hearing he wants to leave , if he did he’d be on sg ball side ay any other club .. where is the gratitude

Well what's the real meaning of this story, if true? That young players only want to come through successful systems and have less pressure?

Well that's great but 8 teams dont even make finals every year and it tends to be the same 8 teams most years.

It's not workable. Literally many young blokes only get their shot due to injury or playing for thinner rosters.

Or is that just what footy is now, nobody is interested in hard work or lifting teams up from the bottom?

He was our captain when the 'big 4' were negotiating to re-sign. He was ambivalent about re-signing and actively tried to recruit Tedesco (or was it Moses? Or both?) to the club he would eventually sign with, the dogs. He started to play weak on the field that year, lost all heart. In interviews describing his decisions and whether or not he'd stay he famously repeated his indifferent phrase 'it is what it is' about almost everything.

Just as captain and a junior and a player who apparently loved the club, he showed total contempt for us.

I particularly disliked the lack of loyalty and leadership he displayed. He says he loves Leichhardt, but he was instrumental in killing the potential of that squad. That particular soft, contract first, laid back, coffee drinking, chill with mates type attitude to playing footy at the tigers seems to have become the norm after that entitled bunch of overrated group walked out on the club.

This guy literally covers every position in the backline. Last night he dominated as a halfback but he's played every other position very well over the last couple of years.
He needs to be here if only for his utility value.
And I know he's signed to Wigan but we really should be trying to see if there's any sort of deal to be made.

galvin has asked for a release , he has been asked to move to 14 when latu is fit, to give latu an opportunity, wasnt recieved well by galvin and family , the club would also like to him spend time as an outside back due to the current roster depth

issac moses will keep pushing here, hopefully richo holds firm, but galvin to be fair wouldnt be in first grade at many other clubs atm

I'd pay overs (not too much) for Royce Hunt. For me he's proven even in beaten sides for sharks and samoa to be a really good player. He's 28, but I can see him getting better and better, and he seems to be a good squad guy

I am sick and tired of hearing Player this and Player that want out of the club. If Galvin wants out, show him the bloody door now.. He is contracted till 2026 FFS....

I mentioned this in another thread This is not how it works. You don’t react like an emotional teenager if a player wants out, especially an 18 year old prodigy. Seriously, on one hand we want the club to have a backbone and not be walked over the top of, yet on the other, want them to roll over any time a player agitates for a release. That’s now how you run a professional Rugby League club.

Seriously no player should stay agaist their will or desire....Offer Galvin to Penrith or the Roosters, BUT ensure we get someone worthy as a swap in return....Just like the Storm weren't prepared to release the Fox to us if we didnt give them Talau.(what a mistake!!)....

The same JAC who is currently out for three months with a hammy and missed half of last season as well? Feel like we dodged a bit of a bullet. And look at Tommy this year. Another example of a player going on to bigger and better things once they leave. Odds are JAC would have come here and be a passenger like 99% of all our other signings.
