OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

I have no reason to question TDS' commitment to the club. He may be friends with Galvin but he has never agitated for a release and nor is managed by the scum Moses. The club has anointed him as Api's successor. While it's disappointing that he hasn't been starting in KOE cup, he played 70mins yesterday.

I wonder if it's a feasible idea to refuse any Isaac Moses clients or would that be cutting off your nose to spite your face?

I just have a feeling that if we publicly state that we will not have any players under his management it may be the moral stand that's needed. Maybe another club or 2 that have had enough of him do the same, maybe the NRL grow some balls and actually ban the guy. Who knows.

But if Stef leaves a year early, Galvin gets released, I feel a statement immediately following their departure about the club banishing any contact with Moses will be a great stand. We can say we will honour any deals that are currently in place with current players he manages, but will not be signing any further Moses clients.

Ahhh yes. He now becomes a must keep.

If Galvin leaves I'd be throwing my eggs in the Large basket. Wouldn't surprise me if TDS followed Galvin to Penrith, but the upside of that is you can then convince the 2 large brothers they have a future in the same NRL team.
Didn’t someone say Large was already leaving?

I'm all for the club refusing to sign any more Moses clients but Galvin needs to be held to his contract. Monetary compensation won't do us any good. Even if he leaves in 2027, he has plenty to offer us in the meantime and he's on a modest contract. If we improve with Luai next year, Galvin may even be convinced to stay. But in any case, we need to send a message to these scumbag managers that we won't roll over

Exactly. What are they doing to the kids and their families??? I'm.sure it's not from a place of heart but business and war. A letter pen. We are missing the the M in warm. Moses. And the bible could then be true. He did part the ocean. For business not Love.

If he goes he goes, he hasn't exactly looked like a young Wally Lewis or Brad Fittler. Not many other clubs will allow him to go straight into the 6 role either so he should think pretty carefully about his decision, again as stated earlier its not like he has been carving up every week.
Exactly he wouldn't get a start in any other team he should be grateful he is getting first grade experience at the tigers. The bloke has been reading too much of his own hype. He is not winning us games.

Yeah, we aren’t going to release this kid. Idk what the deal is, whether it’s him, or Moses or his parents. Maybe all 3, who knows. But he is a hot commodity, and it’s only due diligence that the club sit down and try and mediate the situation. They can‘t act emotional like a lot of you guys want and sulk and say “well go then“. They have to go about it professionally.
Plus he couldn’t be on too much money anyway, so it’s not like he’d be sitting around wasting our cap space. He can loiter in reserve grade for all I care, if he isn’t putting in any effort.

If this is true, and this is the 3-4th time he's asked to get out, or needed some guarantee that he will be in 1st grade etc...

As I've said from the start- we ARE going to lose some players before we get these 'promising juniors' populating the top side. That includes losing some of these juniors themselves.

Just as an interesting aside- Galvin is on a slightly improved contract this season. His biggest rival at the club is reported to be on a 4 year $500k per season contract without ever securing his 1st grade position.

I wonder which player is more highly regarded in the club?

Luai isn't coming here to play Reserve Grade. That means EITHER Galvin or Fainu, with an outside chance of Sullivan or Sezar, plays alongside Luai.

It can't be BOTH Fainu & Galvin. Unless one of them is destined for a different position.

If I'm Mr & Mrs Galvin- I wonder if this is the equation I'm looking at & realising that a move away is in the best interests of their son?

Sezer needs to be signed for a couple more years to teach these kids to play in reserve grade - weather he’s keen to do that is another thing…

But there’s no one in reserve grade to bring the kids through - need some old heads to help the kids on the paddock…
