To be fair- I think all fans understand Galvin is the type of player, skill-wise, the club requires.
But we don't necessarily lose based on skill.
The 'volunteers not prisoners' ideal is actually important. For the club to turn things around- the players need to be invested. Canberra is a great example of a club built on this. Less skillful than most teams- but they WANT to play together.
The Tigers can afford to lose skill if it gains commitment. Not 100% of skill, obviously, but that desire to be at the club needs to be a priority.
I think people, fans, in general understand this & that is a driver for wanting to move the malcontents on.
