Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

And miss easy one on one tackles and then stand there with a smile on his face while watching and reflecting that he almost got them… I have never been so furious at watching some of his lame attempts to tackle and then his total lack of care and application to make up for it.. he is lazy and lacks any commitment to the result
He’s Garner light. Penrith are loading up to win Reggie’s.

In other Super League related news, Davey Armstrong has signed with Leigh Leopards. He's apparently rejected an offer from the Roosters and backflipped on a deal with the Knights.

Also, I see there's been a weird timeline of events for Hull FC, with their player signings and transfer news. They've since released a statement announcing they've withdrawn an offer to sign Treigh Stewart.

Good insight
@Suzie-Q nailed it.

It was a good decision to sign Richo.

My understanding about Paul Green is that he kind of got lost in his head once his career fizzled out and that his family and stuff, well it wasn’t enough to keep him going.

You have to cope with people listening to you to being passed over.

I don’t think Benji is like that and of course, if he’s not coaching, he’s got many other options as a celeb etc.

And Benji knows, being a successful coach over a long period is a virtually unobtainable goal.

It’s tough that Paul couldn’t embrace the best years of his life were ahead of him with those beautiful children and unlimited opportunities to teach people stuff and pass on his knowledge and virtues.

I think he was financially comfy, that’s a big deal for a lot of people. I guess it didn’t sway him.

if you’re feeling down at home, you got a whole forum here is going to help.

I tend to see the world, there’s always some people doing better and some people doing worse than me.

I’d like to apply that to the Tigers, but alas, lol. The cross we have to bear.

What position does Treigh Stewart play, he's not a half by chance?

Haven't seen anything of David Armstrong, but man what a bizarre decision. To turn down the Roosters as a potential long term replacement to Tedesco, then to move to the SL.

The reason we are travelling so bad is the culture of players today .. they all wanna play in the NRL .. they all wanna win (nothing wrong with that attitude) .. BUT a team cant win if just want to play in team that wins .. if YOUR'E not prepared to put in the hard work off the field (at training) .. and on the field .. !! These players today think they should automatically play in a winning team .. winning can come easy if EVERYONE puts in the hard work off the field to strengthen the team .. then turning up and and playing for each other .. playing for the TEAM on game day .. !!

LAST time i looked there is NO 'I" in team .. !! These players who want out because the TEAM isn't playing well for them .. need to have a serious long hard look at themselves in the mirror .. and ask themselves .. what can i do better to make this team better .. !! If you watch our games .. players are all doing their own thing out there .. very little team work .. we are just relying on an individual player to make a break .. not working as team to create breaks .. !! So to those players who want out i say .. you can just p*ss off with no pay (cause YOU want out) and sit on ya lounges at home and play Fortnite .. !!

Back in my day the coach never had any problems with telling a player .. "here's a spoon of "harden the f*ck up" .. and telling them the truth about themselves .. !!

For the players of today .. where's ya proud in wearing the jersey you pull on and play for each weekend .. crikey is not that hard .. every player has legs tackle them .. you cant run without legs .. hold on to the ball .. back each other up .. work together as team .. communicate to the guy next you .. tell him what's going to happen in the next play .. put in 110% in every tackle .. every play .. put in off the filed in the gym on training paddock .. and you will be surprised how easy winning comes to your team .. rant over .. shakes head in disbelief .. :-(
Oh man oh man been waiting so long for someone to bring out the "There is no I in TEAM" comment wrt to recent performances and players wanting to quit.

But then you garnished it with
"Put in 110%"
"Back in my day"
"Harden the F up"
"You can't run without legs"

Glorious
