Very sure about himself and I do admire his confidence and self belief if nothing else.

He would be useful in the team. Can play in halves and centres well and cover lots of positions. Had a good attitude. I'd like to extend.

Pretty strong statements from Douehi.
Feels weird though since he's never really been know to be a strong trainer or a strong leader. Hope he leads by his actions..

I will go down on record to say I haven’t been a fan. I don’t think he has the skill set required to be an NRL half or even a centre. Nor could he become a forward with his lack of physicality and intent. I have questioned his effort and heart on many occasions.
I do however give him credit for the strength and courage he has shown to make his come back this time. As much as he has talked himself up here, I like what he’s saying- I only hope he can walk the walk.
Whatever happens with him I truly hope he is able to make a full and complete comeback and move on with his career.

Depending on how he returns and if we can move Sullivan on, I’d keep him for next year at the right money. He has utility value and is one of our few experienced players under 30.

I'm on record as not being a fan; I have my doubts but trust he comes good on his word.

Because he hasn't played a minute of footall in 14 months - AND in all the games he played last year prior to injury he was aybyssmally bad!
This isn't tiddlywinks - you can't just get thrown in with no match fitness or training reps!
You make zero sense suggesting he should just come straight into the team after such a long rehabilitation!!
