None played 128 first games as Bonti Afoa for NZ top team. Thats their depth in this grade amongst others

I saw it differently. Too many mistakes... we hardly gave ourselves a chance.....you can't coach mistakes.... so I hear you... loud n clear brother

A lot of despair on here. Look past the scoreline & plenty of green shoots.

Really our only experienced 'men' were AD who was good on return, Casey (putrid), Finau (Ron Massey Cup level) & Wilson (Ron Massey).

Kit Laulilii - one of our best, despite one bad miss.
Herman Tofaeono - hope we've got him secured, absolute tank for a 21yo, great leg drive/PCM, couple of bad reads in D.
Bailey Hodges - touch of class in both A & D.
Cayne Nicholas - very impressed for his limited minutes, has intent in defence and can run & ball play.
Johannsen - probably worst game I've seen from him but was ok.
Sukkar - jury is out atm, couple of bad misses in D and a bad knock on.
Luke Laulilii - rocks & diamonds, still a liability under any high balls, good intent on runs, I'd like to see him at centre.
Willett - a better 2nd half but nothing to write home about in attack or defence.
Valevatu - plenty of effort but his size always means a few misses in D.
The rest meh, Solo Saukuru ok without threatening & Zak Clarke was quite good especially in attack, bad miss in D.

I'd like to see Vaka Aho get a run in Cup too this season.

More & more obvious, our club lacks some zip zip x-factor players, acceleration, step & skill. Heath Mason seems the only we have.

I am now fully convinced we cannot rely on juniors.
We must go to market and buy 8-10 first graders…before next year.
All these big name pathways players whose names get thrown about on here…they are useless to us for at least 3 more seasons.
