OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Just sounds like a kid who has the been best player all his life and all the footy scouts chasing him and managers trying to secure his signature have manifested it. Every young person is a product of their environment so he has some confidence and self belief - he is going to need it - because with the hype comes the judgment and for Lachy it's starting earlier than for most.

Yes the Galvin "camp" agitated for a release but all things point to him being micromanaged by his parents and their view of where his career should be heading.
Galvin was selected in FG to begin with because of his attitude and application at training and that says more about him as a player than anything else and should determine how the coach uses him while he is under contract to the club.
Kid has supreme confidence. Winners do.

I think we all need to calm down a bit. We have a massive future with our young kids coming through & other clubs know it. While i too was disappointed by the comments in the media last week it appears very little of it was true . Lachie has now come out & spoken from his own mouth how he feels. Why would we believe a drunk like Buzz over him? Remember, other clubs have a vested interest in making up these destabilizing slanderous stories to get us turning on Lachie & showing him the door, so they can snap him up. We need to be smarter. Now he has come out publicly & given him 100% commitment to the club, we need to give our full support as fans to him & take what this kid says from his mouth rather than play into the hands of those D Heads that wish to keep us down.

I think his rapid ascension has a taste of political manoeuvring to it as well.
Remember his camp were making noise last year.

100% mate he’s the best jr we have had in a while and he’s committed to the club let’s get behind him

Next year with Api jarome and Galvin on the team there will certainly be no lack of confidence they will go out there every week believing they will win

Absolutely and if anyone does not believe at least couple of the more powerful clubs were happy for his manager and parents to agitate for a release they are being unrealistic. Remember a couple of the big clubs are losing big name players from their roster. Deny them the best of the junior talent and they won't be at the top.

Gives credit to Joey….
Not Richo, not Benji, not senior players like Api, not his mates like TDS….
Not the arrival of Luai next year.
HE is going to turn this club around.
Wanker.

Article confirms he is an entitled little sh*t.... it's all about me...me...There is no I in TEAM Galvin!
I dunno, I actually like it. The good halves are confident leaders. If his motivation is the thought about leading change and improvement, good. We've had more than enough "can't somebody else do it" types. His other comments give me enough confidence he doesn't think he's above the team.

I see what you are saying Tucs, however he is only a 18 yo kid, speaking off the top of his head. I was an idiot at 18 & said lots of things without thinking. I believe he was probs really chuffed that the greatest player in NRL history thought so much of him.

Happy to be proven by L.G. I'm wrong....he should come out and bag his manager about fabricating the "I want out" shed talk...clearly it came from someone in his camp.

Yeah I personally think he's just another one of those league players Tucker. You know the type who turn into great players and are lucky cause if it wasn't for league they would struggle on centrelink. Not much between the ears, all they know is football. He's only young so hopefully he starts to mature real soon. If that attitude isn't checked by the senior players it'll be a real problem in time.

Judging from everyone’s comments I guess you were all mature grown men who made smart decisions at the age of 18?
I was as immature as they come, but would still have enough brains to know after this debacle my current managers got to go. This would prove he's nothing but trouble and doesn't give a toss about me cause if he did he wouldn't have fed me to the wolves in the media.

What did Cam Smith say about him? I must've missed it.
